It came defective, and judging by the packaging it seemed like an used product. I knew it it's not really manufactured anymore and did not expect a new product, but did not expect a literal dysfunctional unit either. Just go to some local shops and ask around instead, you might get a better deal and most importantly, will actually get a processor that works.

No its not good for gaming its only for daily use that's all

I have used it for 17 years, now I have finally upgraded my pc with core i3 and every component I have to remove,ram,motherboard, all my honest review is this processor can handle 19s low mb games , Microsoft word exel ,and sometimes there is lags too . My preference is don't buy it but if you have ssd and good ram like 8 gb or so it can be used to handle minimal business tasks , even with graphics card it's performance increases my only 5 to 20 % with heavy bottlenecks and frame drops don't expect to run games or emulated Android games etc . For browsing also you will fell disgusted and it won't be able to run windows 8 pro (original and activated ) smoothly so don't expect to install windows 10 or 11 . And it uses a lg 775 socket you probably won't find good mother board with it . Try to upgrade your pc . With even 6000 rupees you can revive your old pc

A gr8 upgrade frm my earlier dual core e2200. OEM component. So dont expect original box or intel warrantly. But works fine...and packaging was good.

Temperature. Always high and performance very low

Its not gonna blow away the world, but for a decent cheap workstation, you could do way, way worse.

最初は市販のＮＥＣ製ｍＬＧＡ７７５ソケットのセレロンを差し替えてパワーアップするつもりで購入しました。届いて早速差し替えて見ましたが・・・動きません。よく考えたらチップセットがＩＣＨ５でした。当然といえば当然です。そこはあきらめて、この際新たにパソコンを組むことにしました。しかも、このＣＰＵを含めて３万円以内で完成することを目標にパーツ探しに。アマゾンを中心に近くのＰＣ店に通い、新品のケース・５００Ｗ電源・ＨＤ（１ＴＢ）・マザー・ｎＶＩＤＥＡのグラフィック・ＤＶＤマルチ・ｅＳＡＴＡ接続のカードドライブ、中古のメモリー１ＧＢ×４枚を買い揃え、これで〆て２９３００円。早速組み上げて今まで使っていたデスプレィ・キーボード・マウスを接続しＯＥＭのＷＩＮＤＯＷＳ７をインストールすると、何のトラブルもなく１発で起動。メモリーがＰＣ４００のＤＤＲ２ですので、動作は２.１ＧＨＺですが今までと比べほどもないほどにサクサクと動きます。マザーはＡＳＲＯＣＫです。今はｉ３〜ｉ７が主流ですが、安定したＣＯＲＥ２も捨てたもんではなく十分に満足できる範囲です。もうショップでは７７５ソケット用パーツはほとんど手に入らずアマゾンのおかげです。今後はメモリーを強化してオーバークロックに定評のあるＡＳＲＯＣＫのマザーを使いたおしてみたいと思っています。ということで、星満点です。

This processor is really good but I am tired to find the compatible Cooling fan for this processor ,my fan is running very fast and making too much noise.
