Good for beginners

The product is good for beginners, tripod is steady , can easily spot moon, Jupiter, Saturn, mars . But, the 4mm eyepiece provided is useless , instead company should have provided 10mm eyepiece

The Barlow is doo doo but the 20mm and 4mm eyepieces are pretty okay-ish, the telescope itself is quite good for a price just under 100$

The telescope is free from chromatic abbreviations and comes with equilateral stand and hence it gives an opportunity to track planets easily for hours. With this telescope the bands of jupiter and its red spot can be seen easily. Particularly when it is focused on saturn, it really looks awesome! The rings of saturn can be seen with ease. In my opinion, this is a very good telescope!

60eq is best for biggeners I like its Matt color black 3xbarlow is best just good thank you for telescope

Assembling is very cumbersome. Very difficult to keep the scope stable in a fixed position. Absolutely can't view anything due to faulty item which was delivered.

Really good, this is the ultimate telescope for beginners. this Celestron-114eq is the perfect telescope.-Lens quality is good,-You can watch moon( very clear), Saturn, Jupiter, Mars & venus clear but not very big.- Galaxy's or nebula really difficult to see. If you have DSLR camera then use long exposure time to record galaxy or nebula.Cons.- finder scope mechanism very bad it is really difficult to align with the telescope (tube). - Eq mount, it is heavy.If your age is 16+ or you are really intrested in sky or astronomy then buy this 114eq because it is heavy approx 10kg, difficult to carry, little bit difficult to operate or handle.If your budget is near 30k you must go with celestron 130eq.Attaching some pics clicked by phone.

So after watching the ‘how to’ videos on the company website we took it outside for a second go (first time we couldn’t see the moon in front of us haha). We where not disappointed! Really good quality from the basic lenses (hard to use my phone to take a photo). We’re looking to spot the planets next. It can be a bit fiddly and very sensitive to being knocked so kids would need supervision. Other than that it was a solid investment, not too expensive and not terrible that we wouldn’t see anything.

As a complete beginner, the telescope looks and feels of robust construction and of quality materials. Having said this, the scope finder is very fiddly/difficult to aim and looks and feels very cheap, unfortunately I couldn't find a suitable replacement, maybe a rail mount option could be available to enable users to acquire a better scope finder, other than that is well worth the money

It seems well made and works well as far as I can tell as a beginner. Managed to put it together with my son on Christmas day. Just need a really clear night to see what it can do!

This is just incredible. An amazing telescope for an amazing price. Got this for my husband as a gift and he just loves it. An excellent buy for a first telescope or those on a budget. You won't be disappointed, trust me!
