Park ToolTSB-4 Truing Stand Tilting Base for TS-4 Tool

The Park Tool base is made to use with the smaller TS 2.2 as well as the larger TS-4. The base expands to fit the larger truing stand. The base has a tilting function and several compartments for nipples caps and other small hardware. Assembly went well however the diagram provided with the instructions was difficult to understand because the images of the TS 2.2 and TS-4 were superimposed on each other. I was struck by how lightweight the plastic of the stand is. As stated earlier the truing stand can be tilted. Two button head machine screws need to be loosened as well as a knob on the right rear. The knob on the rear is a knuckle buster because it is tucked in too tight in my opinion. When in use I noted some flex in the base. This is not surprising as the TS-4 is about 25 lbs. But it has more flex than when I had the TS-4 mounted to a piece of 1/2" plywood.If the base was a little sturdier , a little better looking and more functional I could recommend it. But for $58.00 the jury is still out as to whether it's worth it.
