The material looks great - I love the pattern! It has a nice amount of stretch, easy to get over my head, even when wearing a cap. I bought this to use as a face covering. It breathes better than many materials, but I still got sick and felt as though I were going pass out while walking around the store for too long - it's okay for quick trips. I won't hold that against this neck gaiter too much, because I do not do well having my breathing interrupted at all.As for the size, I do wish it were a little larger. I would not recommend this for anyone with a large head/face, unless you don't mind something tight. I have a smaller head (well, small for my big headed family LOL!), I wear a size 6 7/8 hat. This gaiter is just small enough that it will stay up over my face if not moving much, but for most of the time, I use two barrettes on the back of my head to clip it to my hair - this holds it in place without being overly tight over my face.

Rating is for advertised purpose, far too see through for a decent summer gator, got a neck burn the first day I used it mowing the lawn. Too tight, but I have a huge head (7 7/8 with what I'm told is a long face so maybe it's me).For those looking for a good virus mask, would not works as is, not even doubled up. Failed the see through test, way too much light getting through. I did sew in a piece of high thread count cotton, from a sheet set my son bought and didn't like, and am relatively happy wearing that as a mask.

I got these for work when I'm cutting metal on the chop saw. The material is nice and cool and is very breathable and I've been able to wear over my face/nose for extended periods.It doesn't keep out 100% of dust and fumes, but with this combined with a face shield it really cuts back on most of the bigger stuff. Also it fogs up my safety glasses a lot less then the disposable dust masks.I've washed these quite a few times and they don't fray or pill up in the washer. It's a really nice, light-weight material. Five out of five stars.

This gaiter is pretty lightweight which is great if you want good breathe-ability. It will be suitable for times when you want to keep sun off or if you want to make a quick run into a store and need a face covering. I'm not so sure it is thick enough for dust filtering. It is also much bigger around than other gaiters I own (1/2" bigger at least) so it really doesn't stay up and the material has little elasticity. I am going to need to sew one end together a bit so I can use it. There is a large label on the outside which looks silly if you have it on the top. The label is sewn on very well so cutting it off won't be easy. Yeah, I don't really want BINMEFVN advertising under my nose.

I bought this for the new face covering requirements, not for UV protection. I’ve tried a couple of different products and materials and this one is my favorite. It’s the easiest to breath through and it stays up on my nose without having to continuously adjust it or wrap part of it over my ponytail to stay in the same place. I have a pretty small head, so it might be a little snug on larger heads.I wish this product was available in more colors and designs.

Been loving my Neck Gaiter since it arrived. It's held up pretty well after some washes, definitely wicks away the sweat an works very well as a mask or head rag. I'll definitely be getting another so I don't wear my current one down to fast. The material is also light weight enough that It's not uncomfortable in hot temperatures if it's sitting around my neck. Actually it helps to wick the sweat away but doesn't become over saturated.

I hated wearing masks, so I wanted something comfortable and unobtrusive. This worked really, really well, with only one small problem. Overtime, it got a little loose and didn't stay up super well. Wasn't so bad I couldn't use it, but it would slip occasionally. Despite that issue, I'd still get one again if I had the need for one.

Love the stitch pattern. Good thickness. Perfect for summer hiking.Definitely useful as:1. Neck protection to fill gap between hat and shirt.2. Emergency Sun protection over ears, neck, nose3. Useful as simple dust filter over nose and mouth during sand storm or ATV riding.4. Nice for dispersing sweat5. Cover head and ears if you forgot a hat.6. Ups your hiking attire as an accent. Kind looks cool with your getup.
