USB Adapter for AT&T ZTE Mobley OBD2 LTE Wi-Fi Hotspot

Works perfectly for my Mobley. I got an adapter here 3 years ago when I got the Mobley and we spliced it onto a 12 volt plug cord. That one finally crapped out (plug broke, couldn't solder it, I probably broke it) and found this one with a USB plug. Perfect! Could not buy it fast enough, as I was having to every day plug the Mobley into my motorhome's OBD port under the steering wheel. Not ideal. Now I can plug this in to any 12v/USB port. Happy to spend the $22, as it's the cost of doing business over 3 years with the great Mobley device.Also, mine doesn't time out, since I long ago went into the admin settings and set it to stay on and not time out. (The instructions that came with this explain how to configure the time out setting.)

Outstanding product, works perfect, and exactly what I needed for my vehicle. Since my OBDII port angles down, I come close to hitting it with my leg/foot when I enter/exit my truck. With this, I can leave it plugged into one of my USB ports which shut off after a short period after turning off my truck, so my wifi doesn't continue to broadcast when I'm not in the truck. (I know the setting can be changed in the mobley)

Not just crap, but cheap crap. Purchased this and had it sent to a friend's house, as I am traveling and couldn't sit and wait on it. It chased me around a few days, but I finally got it and was thrilled; not only did I have my hotspot with me, but no electricity required, as it powers itself off my laptop. I planned to but the 12v and 110 versions as well!Three days. It lasted three days. The sad part it, it wasn't even being pushed into the usb plug or pulled out; it was just sitting there! The plug came apart and gave me a heart attack, having to pull that thing out, with partially contacted metal bare wires showing!Worse still...you have to pay shipping to ship it back. Where's my overnight replacement and THEN WORRY about sending this crap back?!? I'm TRAVELING! I need this, need it NOW, and even after putting it all back together, I have nothing but a cheap piece of crap that doesn't work. Thanks for the "quality"...all around.

It was great while it lasted. But I have to say I'm disappointed to have it last not even a year. Hence the 3 stars. You need to be aware that you are paying for a very temporary item.

Works great -- after you adjust your ATT Mobley Settings. It is more convenient to use it in car with USB then plugging it in under the dash. We will also use it in our Airstream trailer while camping. Solar panel charges the trailer batteries which power the USB outlets and now the Mobley.192.168.1.1 | Settings/Advanced/Power Save/No Time Out

This adapter is first class. It is a one-piece assembly with no splices and works as advertised. The vendor even included in the package supplemental instructions for the setup and operation of the Mobley that aren't part of the Mobley user guide.

Much needed add-on if you have a ZTE Mobley MiFi unit. This cable allows you to power the Mobley from anywhere via standard USB. I find it easier to move the Mobley between cars and other uses when connecting through this cable to USB rather than reaching under the dashboard for the OBDii port. I even power the Mobley using this cable from a phone-style-charger in my purse, if needed. Well done! Thank you!
