Puro Sound Labs BT2200 Volume Limited Kids’ Bluetooth Headphones – Safer Headphones for Kids – Studio-Grade Audio Quality & Noise Isolation – Gray

so i bought these for my 7 year old daughter based on their # 1 position in several comprehensive reviews of headphones suitable for children. disclaimer: i just selected/purchased them then set them up for use by my daughter, i have not actually "used" them--so i have relied on her feedback for that portion of this review first, these headphones are gorgeous--they look like they belong in Bang & Olufsen or Apple's product lines. I choose the white/purple which is very smart looking and my i know my is more likely to use them because they look stylish. The ear pieces are small (as you might expect for children's ears) but also, they pivot 90 degrees so the unit will lie flat which allows it to be stored in an equally snazzy and functional, disc-shaped case. Also, my daughter can put them around her neck--which is much more comfortable if the cans pivot. A minor feature but my hope is that because of this she's less likely to leave them lying on an empty seat in the airport gate area. The case is a bonus--usually to get a quality hard-shell case like this, you have to buy it separately (from eg, HeadCase, et al). I wish my $400 Sennheiser's had a case like this; the case for those headphones is bulkier and it's also soft. The Puro case is pretty solid--not crush-proof, like an otter box, but solid protection at low weight and low bulk. i bought these to pair (connect via Bluetooth) with an iPad mini; the initial pairing was dead simple, probably as much due to Apple's iPad interface as the headphones. subsequent pairing is also trivial and so far seems to happen instantly as soon as my daughter flips the on/off switch once she puts them on her head. the ergonomics are clean and simple--all buttons are located on just one ear piece--the volume controls are two buttons (+ and -); those two, along with the single on/off switch is all you need during use (after the initial set up). as mentioned, Puro's attention to children's hearing protection safety was a prime motivator for me to select these. my daughter tells me the sound is very good; she told me she is not able to discern any difference between these and my $400 wireless Sennheiser Momentum rig (sigh)--she's seven and obviously lacks the ear of a sophisticated audiophile, but she's honest and we did experiment a bit listening to the same songs using both her new Puro Sound Labs and my Momentum.

BUY THESE... Here's why: I was hesitant to purchase such a pricy item for a toddler, but our corded pair of earphones was just too difficult with a wondering child. The sound quality is VERY good, they sound better than my pricy in ear headphones. But not better than my Bose. But my daughter doesn't need $300+ headphones. Build quality and construction is really good, very durable and we don't use the included hard case. We store them in our diaper bag. We live in NYC and our stroller is our "car" so the bag take more abuse than one might in the burbs. These aren't noise canceling like the Bose but do make a good seal over the ear and close out (or shut out) a lot of ambient noise. Perfect for the plane. They hold a charge for a week, and are the most stylish we've found. They also WON'T get too loud to protect hearing. I feel they get plenty loud for plane and cars, any more and you're just doing dammage. Made by parents who have children with special hearing needs, it feels like something made by parents FOR parents.

My 6 year old daughter loves these! The headphones pair fine with our android tablet using bluetooth, and the volume limiting mechanism is very effecting in the wireless mode. They are also comfortable, and have good sound isolation. So, why 4 stars? The headphones can also be plugged in, which is a handy feature when the battery runs low... BUT, according to the instruction manual, you need to make sure that the included cable is plugged in with the volume limiter on the headphone end, otherwise the volume limiter doesn't function properly. These would be 5 star headphones if the jack on the volume limiter end were non-standard, which would ensure that the volume limiting feature was always enforced.

These headphones are actually above and beyond incredible. My daughter is 3 1/2 and we do a lot of car trips and these have come in handy in order to make our ride and hers much more comfortable. For ourselves my husband and I have the Bose quiet comfort 35 the new wireless headsets and quite frankly these children's version rival the sound quality and noise canceling as the Bose. I love the fact that the decibel level cannot get too high and knowing that her ears are not going to be damaged as a result of these headphones. They are comfortable and are so professional grade I can't say enough about them. They are well worth the money and then some. I highly recommend anybody to at least buy them and try them if the cost is a limiting factor to really consider doing so as you will surely not be disappointed at all whatsoever in the purchase of these headphones and the fun colors that they come in make it that more exciting for the kids!

ich war auf der Suche nach Bluetoothkopfhörern für meine Tochter (4 Jahre) für die Autofahrt in der Urlaub. Da ich auf einer langen Autofahrt auch gerne mal etwas anderes als Bibi & Tina höre, sollte sie Kophörer bekommen, damit sie in der Zeit in der Radio läuft trotzdem ihre Sachen hören kann. Mir war es sehr wichtig, dass die Kopfhörer eine Dezibelgrenze haben, damit sie sich nicht das Gehör kaputt macht. Die Kopfhörer kamen in einem sehr hochwertigem Karton. Das hat die Freude aufs auspacken noch mehr gesteigert. Im Karton war eine Transportbox (Hardcase) in der die Kopfhörer sicher aufgehoben sind. Die Optik ist klasse. Man muss sich nur im klaren sein, dass weiß eine sehr empfindliche Farbe ist, besonders bei Kindern. Die Hörer passen super. Sie lassen sich auf nahzu jede Größe einstellen. Die Ohrmuscheln sind weich gepolstert und liegen gut über dem Ohr. Der Bügel ist ebenfalls gepolstert, so dass er nicht am Kopf drückt. Aufgrund es guten Sounds und dem angenehmen Tragekomfort, benutzt meine Frau die Kopfhörer ebenfalls. Alles in Allem war es ein sehr guter Kauf und ich empfehle die Kopfhörer sehr gerne weiter.

J’ai commandé ce produit pour ma fille de 4 ans. Afin qu’elle puisse regarder des programmes pour enfants durant nos voyages en avion. Je l’ai choisi parce qu’il filtre les sons nocifs pour le développement de son ouïe. Je suis fan!!!! Design, efficacité, solidité, livraison, service après-vente, je suis très satisfaite par mon achat réalisé il y a presque 1 an. Ma fille les adore et moi aussi. J’avais acheté des écouteurs avant qui n’ont pas tenus 2 mois. J’ai préféré cibler la qualité meme si le prix est plus important et j’en suis contente.

Bought for my 4yr old son to use when travelling, and for engaging with educational apps on an iPad. I was amazed at the sound quality, but also super pleased by the build quality. They are very sturdy - the metal build is a great idea for kids and after a good few months of use they still look like new, and I much prefer that there isn't a wire to get tangled up. They're a bit too small for my head otherwise I would use them rather than my B&Ws. Highly recommended.
