Is the top feels slippery or is it like sand paper?

The top is not sandpaper. It feels like a vinyl plastic with a rough texture. Not as grippy as sandpaper but also not as messy, as you know sandpaper eventually starts to waste away. I feel secure when I use it and I actually use it as a step stool as well. I have no regrets buying this model.

Does the 350lb weight limit include the barbell weight on my back? Trying to determine if this would be appropriate for performing back squats

I weigh 300 and had 405 on my back for box squats. No issues. It’s is every bit as sturdy as the boxes at the gym. I think they are more concerned about 350 jumping on the box.
