Used it to replace a failed pond pump. Hate that these pumps do not incorporate a low water protection

So far so good. Strong pump. Amazon shipping container was too big and the inner box was jarred open during transit. Lucky no damage.

In a time where customer service seems to have all but disappeared as a concept, Half Off Ponds is the clear exception. Had an issue with a pump 10 months after purchase. After asking me a few questions and for a couple of pictures, Half Off Ponds sent me a new pump and label to return the old one. This all took place over less than a week. Great communication, great people, great experience. I am so happy to find a company that stands behind their merchandise, I wish there were more like you. Thank you Half-Off ponds!

I bought a Puls 4200 Aug 2018. Ran it 1 Month to end of season. I removed it from my pond cleaned it up and stored it for the winter. Installed and running again middle of May 2019. I Have it on a switch, So it only runs arond 20 to 50 percent of the time. It ran until July then seized up. (I did not seek warranty on this pump). Swallowed the loss and ordered a upgraded pump. Piranah 4200. After removing the 4200 I disected it to see if impeller was impinged. It was not. The motor which is sealed and unserviceable was seized up tight. Tossed it in the trash and enjoyed my piranah for about 1 hour then it seized up. Pulled and inpected. Yep Motor seized tight. Returned it to Amazon. That is where thing get interesting . They claimed, and I beleive them, that it was actually a Pulse 4200. Please note that I paid about $100 more for a Piranha. After battling back and forth through e-mail, because they won't give you a phone number. I got about 1/2 my money back. During this time I ordered and paid for yet another Pulse 4200 I had to have a pump for my fish. During the process I pulled this pump again to check the model of this one. Guess what it is actually a Cheaper model (Pulse 3000) double checked order and yes I paid for a 4200. Amazon thinks I am nuts. Well mayby I am. But I will get my next pond pump elsewhere.
