This 26” x 26” Throw Pillow Insert is made out of 5% Down and 95% feathers. The cover is made out of 100% Cotton with a 233-thread count. The feathers are RDS certified, meaning that the ducks and geese used to collect these feathers are treated in the most humane way possible. If it weren’t for that distinction, I would not have purchased these down pillows. This pillow arrived in a well-crafted cardboard box. There was a warning on the outside of the box not to use a knife when opening. I appreciated this warning since the pillow was absolutely humongous and filled the box completely. There wasn’t any additional, wasteful plastic packaging included. It has been a bit difficult finding pillow shams that fit this 26” x 26” pillow. I will probably have to resort to making my own pillow covers. This pillow is machine washable. It is recommended that you use a front-loading machine for the best results. An extra turn through the rinse and spin cycle will help it dry faster. It is recommended to let it air dry out in the sun for up to two days. If your pillow begins to flatten out (as down pillows often do), you can either fluff it by hand or put it in the dryer on the lowest setting for five to ten minutes. Overall, I genuinely love this pillow. It is extremely comfortable. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a huge, decorative pillow.

I like that it didn't arrive totally flat and overly compressed. It did take a small forever to arrive, which accounts for the missing star, but it was worth the wait if you have the time. I'd advise you to measure your space because it really is enormous. The stitching is solid and the fabric is a good weave, but you'll still want a cover for it.

I have a bit of a fill pillow obsession for my couch pillows and have spent way too much time (and money) researching and buying new pillow forms. This one is a winner! 95% feather and 5% down. Nothing poky about it and generous amount of filling, no odd fowl (haha) smells. You get the sink-into-it comfort you expect from down with a decent amount of support. Fluffs back up easily and if you throw it in the drier on air dry with some tennis balls every three months or so also helps.

These pillow inserts are so plush and luxurious. They hold their shape beautifully and make my couch look so inviting. The down and feather filling gives them that perfect balance of firmness and softness, and the cotton cover feels durable and high-quality. A cozy upgrade for any space!
