Pretty light
I don't think I'll have a problem with the soldering pencils I occasionally use, but they are corded and could tip this unit more easily than I'd like. Maybe screw it to a base? Otherwise as well built as is necessary to simply hold a hot object off the table top. Although the sponge is a little diminuative, an extra brillo pad and some rosin are small but useful inclusions.

Works ok
I was taking a jewelry soldering class and decided to order this when I ordered a soldering iron that was recommended for the class. I do have to say if I was to order a stand all over I would not order this one even though it worked perfect for the application I was using it for. But it is a little tippy, and small. Again it was great for traveling to a class Because it is lightweight and easy to pack, and it did everything it needed to do. But if I was to order one for my home studio I will get some thing a little sturdier.

Works as it should, does not fit small irons well
Very lightweight bordering on flimsy, but comes with a piece of double sided tape that I used to adhere the stand to the top of my soldering station and seems rigid and stable enough. It is designed to mount to a surface rather than stand alone. Cleaner mesh works very well. My only complaint is the stand opening is designed to fit irons with a wide flange at the base of the iron typical of Wellers. It should ship with a reducer bushing for irons with smaller flanges, such as the one on my Kendal station. If you have a 3D printer (or know someone who does), it is relatively easy to make your own iron adapter as in my posted image.

It looks pretty good.
I've assembled it, but I haven't used it yet. It did not come with any instructions, and the label on the little box for one item is written in Chinese. I'm not sure how to use the accessories sown on the right in the picture.

Simple but well made
This is not a complex item but it works great. I think it's a good value and I like the design of the holder. I don't use the heck out of it so it's just right for my needs. If you are just starting out and want a holder you can store away when not in use this will work well. I went with this one over others because the holder is secure in the base and doesn't move around.

First soldering iron holder
It's pretty good overall and the added brass cleaner is a plus. I wish that the diameter was a little smaller because there's a small chance your iron is small enough to where it'll simply go through the holder. With mine, I have to place it in at an angle. Works well enough. If it does fall through, the rubber grip part keeps it in the holder.

Basic but it works
This is nothing fancy, but it seems to do the job. It is just heavy enough to not tip over, even without using the sticker. The tip cleaner is functional. I haven't used the sponge or flux. For the price, it does what it is supposed to.

Top of holder should be aluminum. Needs improvement
Plastic insert at top of spring (iron holder) should be aluminum, to help dissipate heat into spring. Plastic is a melting, possible fire hazard. Weller has one in a kit that has exactly how the iron holder should be made. Possible fix is to replace the plastic with some layers of aluminum foil, or a aluminum insert from flexible weatherproof conduit at the top of iron holder.Itโll work in a pinch, but be careful, and look for a way to improve it if youโre going to solder a lot. Plastic is unacceptable.
