How isn't this just rawhide? you can't have a single ingredient "collagen stick"... where's the binder?

A collagen is just a fancy male for protein that's found in your dog's skin, fur, bones, tendons, cartilage, gut lining. Less fat, and not a penis of an animal. Do any of the nutrients survive the baking/drying process?

If you read Features and Details within the product info, it will give you more info. People eat dried beef and Slim Jim type products as nutritious food, so I think nutrients survive drying, but, I am not an expert. I like the collagen sticks bc of easier digestion than rawhide. I like that the animals they come from are grass fed. My dog is high energy and needs activity. These are great for when he feels like chewing. He also likes to carry them when we take walks. They are light and don't roll away like a ball when he puts them down. It gives him a fun task. I also throw them sometimes for him to find. I love them.

I also would like to know this. And yes, dog treats and food to contain nutritional information.

Why do some of the collagen sticks have hair in them? Is this normal?

Yes! These are from a deeper layer of skin, and will sometimes have hair/fur left over.
