Exactly what I was looking for. Almost a barefoot feel, but with a good sole that provides traction and some protection (waterproof, will repel splinters, toe-stubs, etc.). Do not get these if you want a lot of padding or any arch support, but they do have a decent foam removable/replaceable insole with slight padding, so are a step more comfortable than just being barefoot. They pack flat (to about a half inch thick) so are good for travel, which is why I bought them. If you don't have even that much room in the suitcase, you could potentially set aside the insoles and get them in about half the space and still be better off than walking barefoot or in slippery socks inside your destination. I think you could also use these as a lightweight water shoe in a pinch. The 1-piece breathable knit upper is interesting in that the cuff is stretchy while the rest is not, so you get a good combination of comfort and stability. For a minimalist, barefoot-style house slipper that travels easily, these are perfect.

Okay, I wear these like a slipper. I fold the back end into the foot bed so the heels are open. I only wear them inside. They have yellow insoles and the yellow material started rolling off and pilling off of the yellow insert so I had to order a different pair. They are very comfortable and I will keep ordering these every 6 months.

Comfortable as expected. Kind of like socks with rubber soles. The soles were a problem for me. They seemed to kind of stick to the floors in my house and made a real weird sound as I walked. I could see faint marks on the floor too. I'll go back to regular slippers.

They pack easily and are very cute. I have the red ones. I use them on vacations as my I indoor “house” shoe. The material is good quality. They are light yet firm fitting to the foot and pack flat.
