Well, this cheese solves the problem. It has a little different texture, but overall, that doesn't even matter. I can't get it to slice evenly, because it breaks. But again, it is fine for cooking with. I used to eat grilled cheese sandwiches as a child. This cheese is so close to the taste of dairy, I feel like I am eating those sandwiches back in the day! You will love the tasty, melty cheese, it is so tasty! Beware, you will love it and buy it again and again. I have tried a variety of vegan cheeses. and this one hits the top of the charts. The texture and flavor of the cheese by itself is good..comes quite close to processed cheese. But it doesn't melt at all when grilled which is disappointing. Turns out crumbly. It's an okay product for those who can't have dairy cheese
