ZIWI Peak Wet Cat Food – All Natural, High Protein, Grain Free, Limited Ingredient, with Superfoods (Chicken, Case of 6, 3oz Cans)

Hard to find lamb, kitty loves this food. It is high in price but a quality food. I love Ziwi as they don’t use junk but good protein. Ziwi is one of my favorites!

The "Rabbit & Lamb" canned wet cat food recipe made my Russian Blue Cat EXTREMELY ILL....he threw up for 4 days and lost 4-5 pounds in 5 days and nearly did not make it; even after an Emergency Vet trip...the vet did NOT even figure out it was the new wet food; as they were extremely busy and acted rushed. The next day after the vet, my BELOVED Cat looked like he was dying...I STOPPED feeding him this food...and he slowly started recovering. Amazon will not refund me. (All I used was ONE can of the expensive 6 pack of small 3 oz cans; and opened a second can and NOTICED how it (the food) was SEPARATING and looked really strange.) I contacted Ziwi and they emailed me; I emailed them back with all the labels and specs; but now it seems they are dodging me. Do not feed your cat the "Rabbit & Lamb" version. I see no one else has a review for this flavor. I have also made a REPORT to the Food Safety Portal online.

I recently bought this in January 2025 and my kitten who's a female at 7 months loves this cat food. I mix a little of it in with a chicken all natural with beef fancy feast because of the change of food to transition. She hasn't rejected it or gotten sick from it. She does act like she's a wild tiger after chowing down on it. She will literally get feisty and very rambunctious since I started her on it so I think I'll continue on with some dry food and alternate it with her canned then maybe she won't get so wild like a tiger or lion. She loves the taste and the smell like a real beefy meal. The texture is her liking she likes pate but not very creamy gravy like and this isn't like that. She enjoys the texture. The color looks really good and fresh. I'm hoping that there's not something else wrong with her why she gets extra aggressive after eating it. Good value considering the all natural ingredients and other prices on kitten canned food.

Some of the cans are overly dry of moisture.

Two out of three Cats seemed to really like this food. It seemed a little goes along way. It’s very rich.
