Your decorative interior barn door will not hang plumb with this guide
This is a really heavy duty unit, and would probably work fine for an industrial barn door that hangs a long way off the wall, or for a wall that has no baseboard molding at all. It does not work correctly for a typical interior barn door that hangs with the inside door surface 5/16" - 9/16" off the baseboard molding. The absolute minimum distance between the inside surface of the door and the baseboard molding with this guide is 1 1/4"... so your door will not hang even close to plumb. Also, the bottom portion of the guide is very long to accommodate thick doors. On a typical 1 3/8" thick interior door, you'll have 1 1/4" of metal bracket sticking out past the lower guide, and stubbing your toes. I spent a lot of money for my interior barn doors and their tracks, this is not a workable solution for the floor guide.I have metal working skills and modified the bracket to work with my typical interior barn doors. This is thick metal so you'll need power tools to do this. I removed the inside roller completely and stuck a thick felt furniture floor glide to the to the bracket where it mounts to the wall. The inside surface of the door slides on the felt pad, and the door hangs plumb with just a pinch of clearance to the pad. I set the outside roller to just contact the surface of the door and cut the remaining metal off the end of the bracket. I rounded it, sanded it and painted the cut surface black to match the rest of the bracket. The outside roller gets mounted in the normal way prescribed by the seller. Done, smooth, plumb, toes in tact.

Absolutely perfect.
I rarely write reviews for anything however this product was EXACTLY what I was looking for and it didn’t disappoint. We have new floors so I didn’t want to screw into them. This attaches perfectly to the wall while providing a smooth track like alignment for my homemade barn door. It has several adjustments to make this probably the first time I purchased exactly what I needed. I did use longer screws to go in to the 2x4” stud rather than just the MDF trim but that was just personal choice.

Quality, cost effective, good enough to buy more
Can’t beat it, for the price. If you do not care to have a bearing, this wheel is a great to install as an additional or even by itself. I have both applications. It would have 5 stars because with the price of The extra bolt, they were halfway to a bearing which would have quieted it down if applying force to it. If your door is well made, not much force should be on this. Even if you have careless children or spouses it will keep your door on track. If your door ever comes off track with this installed even haphazardly, your operator is defected and should returned or corrected. As all my barn doors and the walls around them are true reclaimed wood I wanted the least hardware taking away from aesthetics. This has a good clean look and a small footprint. I will probably buy more

expensive but works well
I make barn doors for a living and have used these twice, only because the customer requested it. Most of my customers do not want it because it is quite large. The wheel sticks out too far and is too large. It is an eye sore and people stub their toes on it. Other than that, it really does the job well. For those customers that have concrete sub floors, you can mount it to the baseboard. I was able to make this similar product for under two dollars, so i only purchase it when customers request it, because of it's price.

Solid Product
The barn door I built was just a little too heavy and the door depth to big for the door guide that came with the hanging hardware. I found this in the recommended products and was glad I ordered it, came early and is very solidly made, the wheel is smooth and is adjustable to fit up to a 3" door.

Sturdy product for heavy doors
This barn door floor guide was the perfect product for my application (carpet on concrete slab). It is perfectly sized for door rails mounted on a 2-inch thick header board. Ample wiggle room for perfect alignment of rollers with the door. The mounting nuts are nested in the bottom plate so you don't have to get a wrench under the plate to tighten the roller bolts; you can mount the guide flush with the floor. The guide is made with heavy steel plate, and the rollers are equally robust. I am extremely satisfied with this product, it is far superior to the floor guide that came with the door.

Great Value
This barn door guide is well made and works perfectly. It is exactly what we needed to secure our barn door for our bedroom door because it is heavier made than the others we've seen and used before. It was a little more difficult to install than others, but that is due to the better / stronger design.

Nice substantial piece. Very easy to install. Perfect!
This had everything we needed to stabilize the door after removing a rug and laying flooring. You can attach to molding/wall which is what i did because we have a floating floor. I did this while my husband and friend took a little beer break! If I can do it you can.
