Great buy!
Exactly how it was described. Perfect for a beginner and long lasting so you can become an expert. :)

it works
Resin is easy to use, mixes ok with mica powders and glitters. Can use small amounts of alcohol inks as long as the resin is still clear. Does get hard, does not smell bad and dries quickly. Does have some bubbles but can be worked out. Will use again

Definitely recommend
I am very happy with this purchase. I've made a few pieces and they've turned out perfect. They cured faster than I expected so I recommend that you keep an eye on under the light to prevent curving or burns. As usual there were bubbles but they weren't bad. Over all I'll definitely buy it again and recommend it as a great buy for beginners as well!

good starter kit
I was new to this craft when I ordered the product, so there was a learning curve. It has turned into a fun hobby. Although the kit has everything you need to get started, a little online research will help make your first experience more successful. I haven't used any other resin, so I can't compare & contrast with others, but this does a nice job.

More Resin
UV epoxy resin is really good for small crafts and jewelry. It's clear as glass after curing, so your stuff looks shiny and neat. Plus it cures super fast—just a few minutes under a UV lamp and you're done. No need to mix anything or wait all day. It's safe too! Most brands have a low odor and non-toxic formula, so you can craft without worry. Once it's dry, it gets pretty tough and doesn't turn yellow easy, works well for things you’ll handle a lot. Works with keychains, rings, pendants, DIY kits—easy for beginners, just pour, light, and pop out your piece. It’s not perfect for big projects (can get expensive, and not as strong as epoxy for large stuff), but for little creations? It's great, even if you’re just starting out.

Missing Vital Steps from Instruction Booklet
This can finish up water-clear and takes detail well, provided you figure out the steps the manufacturer didn't tell you. Otherwise, even in the shallow translucent molds Bond Craftor gives you, this is a mess. The missing steps are: After hardening from the open side, turn the mold over and light it from the back for an equal time. (With deep molds like chess pieces, lay them on their side and rotate to give them time on opposite sides.) and After unmolding, wash in isopropyl alcohol to remove stickiness. I'm not going to waste your time describing my process of figuring this out, involving a familiarity with UV nail gel types and 3D printing. Using their molds, when I unmolded a big blob of the go-go was liquid, and *everything* I cast was tacky, no matter how long I left it under the light. And that will happen to you if you don't flip your mold and have rubbing alcohol for the finish bath. Just put the parts in a disposable plastic cup and cover with alcohol, and agitate for a minute. You don't even have to rinse them. Just fish them out and let them dry. I imagine if you were using this for a water pour on a diorama, you would have to wipe everything down or it would be fuzzy with permanent dust in very short order. You must use something lint-free, like "lint free nail wipes" sold for nail salons (over 500 for $6US). Don't use paper towels. The selection of accessories was convenient. Their disposable cups, with spout and handle, were something I would buy separately. To clean up the silicone mat, where the resin has dripped, just set the resin there. It will peel right off. After figuring out what the Bond Craftor forgot to tell us, it was okay resin. I'll be keeping it for water, though. For big jobs, waiting for a 2-part to cure takes time, but is less work.
