OXO Good Grips Countertop Cereal Dispenser

I purchased these dispensers for dog food and they serve the purpose cleanly and precisely. Food does not get trapped or crushed. A removable tray makes any clean-up easy. The assembly was so incredibly simple is laughable. I wondered 2 things: #1- how the hopper would stay put considering the top heavy design and #2- what the built-in lock button was for. Well, the lock is for the hopper to stay in place. The lid has such a strong seal that I can not smell the dog food. They also have an attractive design. They really go well in my kitchen.

I love my cereal dispenser. I am disabled with the use of only one arm and I can't tell you how much this is a time saver and allows me to use less energy. Instead of getting the box and opening it up and trying to pour it with one arm that is weak as it is, all I have to do is push down the lever and I have cereal in a bowl. I probably wouldn't put large cereal in there such as frosted wheats, but I put Chex cereal in there and it seems to work fine, not getting clogged. The only thing that I wish is that they would make this in black. My whole kitchen is stainless steel and black/gray countertops. The white really kind of sticks out, but I've put it in a corner where it can't be seen. Also, the dispenser is taller than it seems in the pictures and the videos. Mine does not fit underneath the countertop. So I put it to the side of a cabinet that I don't open. Just something to keep in mind. Otherwise, I love it.

We got one for Christmas and loved it so much we ordered 2 more. They are super easy to put together and easy to operate. We are using them for cereal and so far the cereal has stayed fresh for about 3 weeks. I love that there is a dip tray on the bottom that I can just remove and wash. The handles are easy to operate and work well.

First one out of OXO that I ever had to assemble myself. Out of the box, it is in a few parts you put together. Sort of makes sense except for the left and right lever. Lever has to be put together onto the main body using the screws provided and instruction says screw until tight. It doesn't go in very easily. I had to try a few times on each side just to get it to fit in tight without feeling flimsy. It made me worry I would end up breaking it since it's not a very strong plastic. Except for the minor assembly task problem, this is a fine product. Size is just right and fits 32 oz of Goldfish snack. Space below dispenser is just the right height to fit a standard soup bowl. White body and clear container looks very nice! Lid is a bit annoying to try to get off when adding more snack because you end up practically lifting the whole container, but it actually is also a positive, because it means seal is very good and it should keep the snack fresh for quite some time.

These are great! I use them in a sorority house. They are well worth the money. Great quality!!!

Keeps the kitty food air tight! I liked that the whole packaging was all covered and shipped sealed and safe. Easy assembly. Holds a lot!

This is one of the best things OXO has made. I have used their products for over a decade at this point. My kid has a hard time using cereal containers and milk jugs are too big for her. She can now get her own cereal AND thanks to the OXO glass creamer jar she can pour her own milk for cereal and to drink 😊 Having arthritis myself cereal containers that I’ve had for over 20yrs have been incredibly difficult for me to open or close. Using these are so easy on my hands and joints. We have 2 of these. So there is always a choice in cereal. Best of all it holds a bag of the giant family sized boxes cereal and even cereal from sams club and Costco.

4 or 5 different cereals later, each cereal the same. The cereal gets stuck together at the bottom opening, rendering any sort of pouring useless. Seems like ambient moisture enters and causes ONLY the opening cereal to merge into a single mega cereal. Had to smack the thing like an old SRT to get it to work, and when all else failed, had to pop the lid and shove a chopstick to the bottom and stir to forcibly release the melded cereal.

Honestly so surprised with this item. Full sealed easy to assemble/dismantle to clean. Stores a whole box of cereal and looks exactly the same as the add. Great purchase
