Overall handling experience and fun-factor is very high. The casings, magazines, and slide all function like a real pistol, which gives the boys some basic handling experience. They obviously like it much more than I do. They've showed it off to all their friends for the past week. The bullets only fly accurately perhaps 10' with a 6" grouping. No way in hades you could hit something at 30'. Minus one star for the misleading description. I'm not a fan of all the oranges bullets I'm finding on the floor around the house, but it's a worthwhile tradeoff. I don't expect it to last forever, but I think we've already got our money's worth. I do wish it came with enough casings to fill perhaps 3-4 magazines.

This is a super fun toy! The actual action is really good, especially for the reasonable price, and it looks really solid as well. Functionality, features, ammo capacity, aesthetics - I've been quite pleased with all of it. In terms of safety, you do need to be careful because the projectiles can reach velocities that would create problems if they happened to catch an eye, so be smart with your usage. Safe operation is key. But as long as you do that properly, I think you'll be plenty pleased and have plenty of fun with this toy. Would recommend!

This thing is is shockingly detailed in its action, but a pain in the butt to pick up all the discarded casings to put the bullets back in them. I also absolutely would not give this to a small child, or even most children. I'd say it's more appropriate for adults, or teens who demonstrate they understand the gravity of pointing a realistic toy gun. The orange tip is so small that a cop could easily mistake it for a real gun with a ceracoat. I can definitely see it being useful in making story based videos for social media. If you shoot it outdoors, make sure you keep track of where you shoot it so you can recover the casings for later reuse.

The best part is that the set relatively gives a general idea how a pistol works. Besides providing an idea about the mechanism, you can't really practice to shoot the included target because the trajectory is different from shot to shot, it may go up, go down, go to the left, and go to the right. And you can't have kids to shoot each other because the trajectory is unpredictable. The bullet is perfectly made, when pressing the button on the back of the shell, the tip shoots out quickly and in a straight trajectory as it should.

I wish it came with a few more shells. The toy comes with comes with 2 magazines that hold exactly 6 toy bullets. The toy comes with exactly 12 shells so just enough to fill each magazines. They give you a lot of neon orange tips for each shell, however they will not work without the shell. The toy works by having a spring inside the shell and a tiny button on the back that when hit will propel / shoot the neon orange tip.

This is a fun little toy and works perfectly. I haven't had it "jam up" or had any issues so far. It feels safter than the CO2 pistols.

this little toy is a ton of fun. like most in its class, it is not the highest of quality being 99% plastic but works well, without air or battery. the kit includes everything you need for literally hours of play at a time
