本体の材質や細部の仕上げを考えると割高だと言えるが、全体的なイメージを考えると代替性がなく、ディーゼルのデザイン性が遺憾なく発揮された腕時計と言える。 カルバンクラインやアニエスｂのように、ごく普通の時計に名前を付与しただけではなく、しっかりと時計の形状そのものからデザインされていることは評価できる。 サイジングはやはり欧米向けで、腕周り19センチの私の腕にはベルトを調節したとしてもやや大きめ。 本体が大きめ、というものあるが長袖を着た時にはその大きさとベルトのと腕の隙間が気になり、時にだらしなく見えることもあるので、半袖着用時にブレスレット感覚で装着するのが良いでしょう。

Es su propuesta: una esfera de gran tamaño, el color negro mate dominando y dos poderosas alas que simulan los F15 de la aviación. Es mi primer reloj desde hace mucho tiempo, uno que me enganchó al verlo hace un par de años y que dejé en reposo hasta que me animé a la compra por algo menos de doscientos euros. Pasado un año no puedo decir otra cosa que estoy plenamente satisfecho. Diría que es un reloj que está ahí, sin estridencias, pero lo suficientemente diferente como para llamar la atención. Ideal para poder usarlo en entornos más elegantes o del día a día, pues en su diseño combina, por un lado, el equilibrio de su esfera clásica -buenas funciones de cronómetro, con tres microesferas que van desde el segundo a la hora- y, por otro, el punto rupturista de sus dimensiones y esas dos alas en un extremo. Por su parte, en este tiempo no ha sufrido desperfectos ni se ha resentido su color. Todo está bien. Como observaciones, más que datos negativos, tuve que quitarle alguna pieza de la correa para ajustarla a mi muñeca (dos euros en una relojería) y de cuando en cuando hay que limpiar el polvo que puede acumularse entre las dos palas de la esfera (cada dos meses o así y sin más trabajo que pasar una servilleta o similar). Como punto más crítico quizá la ubicación de la fecha, que queda poco visible y es casi inoperativa. En definitiva, he sido reticente con los relojes, nunca me han enganchado desde uno de esos Casios de antaño, pero fue ver este y hacerlo. Tras este tiempo sigo satisfecho y no hay en mí ánimo de cambiarlo. La presentación, además, fue buena, con una caja de color blanco que uso a diario para guardarlo, pues es muy bonita, en la misma línea que el reloj: sin muchas complicaciones, compacta, pero con presencia. Ignoro si siguen enviando la misma o no. Un saludo.

Very aggressive styling, good weight and superb fit and finish. Received it yesterday. Saw lot of online videos of original Vs replica of the same model and concluded that I what I have received seems genuine. Although the watch box shown in the description is white but I received a black one which is better looking. Overall happy with the purchase. Here's how to spot if it's genuine... 1) the "only the brave" logo should be absolutely full black. 2) the Diesel logo engraving finish and font size is better and bigger in the original watch whether on the watch or on the chain. It's a very smooth print and not deep engraving. 3) date font is white in color with black background. In copy watches its just the opposite. 4)on the rear, the water resistant should be mentioned as 10 Bar in the original whereas it's mentioned as 3 Bar or 3 bar 10 bar in the copy watches 5) original warranty card should be stamped 6) stopwatch and chrono buttons and hands actually work. The ones on the fake watches don't. So there you have it!! I checked several online videos and gathered this info and also went down with my watch to an authorized store and matched these points. Keep your eyes open and you won't go wrong.

When I opened the box and saw the white leather (looking) box the watch comes in I was impressed, because the box is impressive. The watch is held in place with a big white perforated leather (looking) pillow along with a thick printed manual. This is an impressive watch especially when you first, take it out and get to see how crisp and clean the white markings appear against the black face, get to see the actual size and feel the weight. I have other watches that have white markings against a black background but the way it's done on this watch puts my others to shame, these markings or the method used is truly impressive! The band is impressive as well and looks high quality. I was pretty sure from the pictures that, even though I've had trouble quickly telling the time on some watches, this one should be no problem ... and it isn't, it's very easy. Whenever I pull out the stem of a watch for the first time I can get a pretty good feel for how well it's made and get a good indication if the watch will be durable. I own a dozen watches and the only trouble I've had with any have had to do with the stem. I recently bought a RELIC brand watch and the second time I pulled the stem out .. the stem came out, in my hand and I could have predicted it because the first time I pulled it out if "felt thin and flimsy" and didn't stop solidly at the detent positions for setting date and time. This watches' stem feels thick and sturdy, detented nicely and felt firm but smooth when I pushed it all the way in after setting. The push buttons for the chromometer likewise feel sturdy but smooth and the chronometer operates nicely. I've never had a watch where any metal resides in front of the glass the way the "fingers" that frame the date window does on this one. It really sets this watch apart from all others and I love the look of it. Though the date window is probably the weakest part of the watch, being small, hard to read and, if you ever want to read the date around 3 o'clock you can't because it's covered by the hour hand. I love the band, it looks expensive and is nicely plated. The latch works smoothly and, once latched, feels very secure and even though this watch is no lightweight, I don't have any fears the latch will come undone. This is a beautiful watch and even though it looks complex it really is a pretty basic watch that I expect will hold up well. It's not as heavy as I feared it would be and is very comfortable even over long periods. I'm always careful about scraping my watch against things but because of the size of the face and the plating on the metal, especially that in front of the glass, I will be extra cognizant with this one. If you like the way this looks in the picture and are in the market for a larger watch, one that's easy to read ... you will absolutely love this when you get it in your hands. I love it and hope it will serve me for a long long time.
