I got the hardbound version for 1600 rs from Avalon shop seller. Let me assure it is not duplicate and plots are in colour, pages are smooth with a hint of shine. I have been buying mit press books for sometime and i don't see a problem with this. Infact this price is a good bargain. This is one of the few books on deep learning fundamentals by turing award winner bengio and his colleagues. Two third of the book is light read in comparison to Murphy's book Machine Learning a Probabilistic Perspective which is also highly appreciated awesomeness. A definitive textbook for machine learning beginners.

I checked the page numbers to see if any were duplicated or shuffled. Thankfully, there were none. Also, I found that all the pictures are color; something to look out for when you're checking this book as many previous customers (not for this seller in particular) had complained that the pages were missing or entirely replaced with a duplicate of other pages. Page quality is good; don't expect laminated-paper quality. It is firm and thick and not flimsy by any means. I, however, found that the binding the book is weak; just holding it in your hands causes the hardcovers to twist the binding. Hopefully it's a feature to prevent the binding from breaking if it was too stiff but I guess that's a story that only time will tell. Seller was 'CloudTail'. Their offering was ~Rs 300 more than the cheapest offer from another seller but I have brought most of my electronic gadgets from these guys and they have never disappointed. And in light of all the feedback regarding dubious clones being sold under the guise of the original book, I felt it best to go with a seller with whom I have a great experience with. So, no problems there.

This book covers everything that is needed from ground up to be well versed in Deep Learning. All the background mathematics required and Machine Learning subject as a whole is covered to the point, focusing on what is needed as of present. Most of other reviews at various portals mentions this to be too theoritical and involves lot of mathematics. But on yhe contrary, every line in the book develops over previous text in a systematic way so that no extra information is provided. The sections are well categorized and for all practical developers, the last section can be conviniently skipped. Accompany this book with "deep learning with python" by Francois for implementation level hands-on details.

I have just received this book today and it's original. I got it for 80/- Rs only. This is one of the best book to dive deep into Deep Learning theoretically. Definitely a worthy purchase.

I received the book in good condition. The book has hardcovers just like the old time registers which makes it very sturdy. Overall I liked the product 👍🏼

Sin embargo, no es un libro sencillo: requiere una base sólida en matemáticas y machine learning para poder aprovecharlo bien. Quizás resulte más útil para investigadores, doctorandos o quienes quieran profundizar a nivel teórico que para principiantes. Aun así, es una obra imprescindible en cualquier biblioteca de inteligencia artificial.
