Sturdy and well designed. Great addition to my book shelves.

I ordered the 3-4 lb. stones in natural. I received them very quickly and they were packaged very nicely. They are very large (mine are 6 inches tall)! There are some amazing natural formations on the unpolished sides and the polished sides are just lovely. Mine has browns, black, clear and hints of a grey blue. And there is little geode formation in the center filled with tiny, shiny crystals. I love the way they look on my desk! They are better quality than I had expected with such a great price. I haven't tried them with books yet but they should be able to hold some good weight. They also give you little bumpers to apply to the bottom to help keep them in place. My bumpers were in the bottom of the box so if you order these make sure to check! I am very satisfied with my order. I would highly recommend!

Super cute and love the color

These items look just as beautiful in real life as they do in the picture. I originally thought the one I got did not come with rubber feet and was pleasently surprised to find a small sheet of adhesive feet that I had missed in the packaging. This is working perfectly well to prevent sliding. Also, I initially had my books arranged from shortest to tallest and was having some issues when taking a particularly thick book out from the middle. Without the feet, the end would slide, with the feet they were still tipping if all the tall books suddenly leaned to one side. My solution was to rearrange the books so not all the taller (and heavier) books are together. This seems to be working better. I'm a little bit wishing I had got the bigger size. I'm using these bookends to hold about a dozen books.

Beautiful and Sturdy. The first pair I ordered was not as pretty as the one in the picture but certainly very giftable. But it was missing the little rubber pads. So I called Amazon saying could you please send the pads. This is going to be a graduation gift and I want it to be perfect. Amazon said why don't we just give you a whole another set? I said that I really didn't need another order just the pads but they wanted to make sure customer service was not lacking and they sent me a whole other order with the pads in it this time! My niece just opened the package and she seemed thrilled! And so are we. Your agate bookends are beautiful and so is your service.

I never write reviews, but unfortunately these book ends are completely different weights and not even whatsoever. While the one is 3-4 pounds (as ordered), the other weight is a solid pound less and is noticeably thinner/smaller. While the stone is pretty, they seem like they were just thrown into a box that was already tattered upon arrival. These were meant to be a gift, and I’m not sure they can even serve their purpose as the one weight might topple over when trying to hold up sturdy books. Please deliver quality products when advertising such. Thank you.

These weren't big enough for what I wanted them for (to hold records so that's my fault) but they are so pretty I found a place for them elsewhere. Other people have mentioned the blue "dye" rubbing off. I got it on my fingers and it washes off easily. I haven't had any issues with it rubbing off on my books or anything like that. I rated "light weight" with 1 star because they definitely do what they're advertised to do (hold books) and don't like fall over?

It was absolutely perfect. Perfect color and weight. The 6-8 lbs. option held my eight book Throne of Glass special editions in place. However, it was cut badly. I understand there are always going to be natural variations in minerals like agate. But that wasn't my problem. It was simply cut badly. See attached pictures. I'll probably try ordering again and seeing how it goes.

Incorrectly believe the stones would be 3to4lbs each As such they were smaller than I thought

This is a Christmas gift for my daughter. They were smaller than what I expected but are quite brave do they should hold up alot of books

was quite disappointed with these, they are dull in colour so to me didn't look like as described, also smaller than I thought.
