Insulated inside.
I'm using it on my electric kettle. I will also use it on my ceramic tea pot whenever I use it. Well made. Because it's insulated, I am positive it will keep my tea pot hot longer because it will cover the entire tea pot. Unlike my current cozy where the spout and the handle are uncovered. Brilliant color palette in person.

Great tea and coffee cozy
We don’t like leaving our coffee pot on the burner after it is brewed. The heat continues to cook the coffee and burns it. The cozy is perfect! We place the brewed coffee pot on an hot pad and place the cozy over the pot and it keeps the coffee nice and warm for multiple cups.
