Ovlaim 52 Inch Wood Ceiling Fan with Light Remote Control,Quiet DC Motor,3 Blades Indoor Ceiling Fan for Bedroom Living Room,ETL Listed

We initially ordered two of the Ovlaim 52 Inch Wood Ceiling Fan with Lights to replace existing "Tropical Blade" ceiling fans in our Hawaii home. The fans are exceptional in the amount of air they move, the multiple speed settings, the blade movement is extremely quiet and the blades do not accumulate dust/dirt buildup as the "wide rattan blades" of our old fans. The light also allows changing from "warm yellow light" to a "blue white light" or combination of the two and allows dimming down low or lighting up high enough to read by. We were so happy with them that we ended up ordering a total of five Ovlaim Fans and replaced all existing fans in our house.Now I must tell you about the unbelievable customer service and help "After the Sale". Last month our Chocolate Labrador Puppy enjoyed chewing up the remote control to our bedroom fan to the point it no longer worked. We used a "smart home app" to operate it temporarily, but it was not easy to change fan speeds in the middle of the night. I emailed the factory to explain and request help in purchasing a replacement remote control unit.Nicole @ Ovlaim was fantastic !! She emailed back asking us to confirm what the existing remote control looked like to assure we received the correct replacement. I sent Nicole a photo of our chewed up remote and the Nicole replied back that she would have the factory send me out a replacement unit. Nicole emailed me instructions on how to "pair" the new control switch to the current remote unit inside the fan. Then Nicole emailed me when the unit had been sent out along with a fedex tracking number. We were never billed for the replacement item. We received the complete replacement remote control unit and the remote control switch that were already factory paired so it took less than 5 minutes to change out the remote unit inside the fan housing and the remote control switch worked immediately !! I have never received such "after the sale" assistance in my life ... Truly unbelievable and exceptional service and product.

We have 7 of these in a new house. They look feel and act like a quality product and we have had zero problem with any of them. They look very good installed in the lounge, bedrooms and porch areas and are very effective as fans as well. The remotes work perfectly. We are very happy with our purchase.

Nice fan but the motor mechanism was bent thankfully it was able to find a solution so it wouldn’t make the rubbing noise when it starts.

This fan has the looks and features that connected customers are looking for. If you are looking for a simple fan without any new technology, just pull chains, this fan is probably not for you. I really like this fan. It is european style meaning that the power connections are done a little differently, mounting is slightly different, but the motor is 120 Vac for the US market. There are a few notable features that this fan has:1) If you supply power to the fan through a wall switch, the fan speed, light intensity, and light color will all be retained. So if the switch is off, when you turn the switch on it remembers the previous setting.2) The version of remote that came with this fan now includes a separate switch for light on/off and light color adjustment. This means that the problem some of the reviews mention that the light is not dimmable (only the color) has been fixed in this version.3) This fan can be connected to wifi, the manufacturer recommends Tuya Smart, which is a free app to control the fan. You can connect to Alexa or other automation through this app. Once set up, it works seamlessly. The Tuya app will allow full adjustment of the light color, and full dimmability. Alexa will have the same control. Also app controls the fan speeds 1 thru 6, same as the remote control.So there are a lot of options. The fan build is excellent, solid wood blades, no balance issues. Very quiet motor. Sleek look. It does start up a little different due to the dc motor, but perfectly normal after that. The instructions are not exactly complete. There is a rubber circle included that is not in the instructions. I figured out where it goes, and recommend that you use it. It provides insulation and prevents vibrations. See the pictures which show how to install the cover, and how it looks with the mounting bracket installed. The canopy will cover all of this (except the outside edge of the rubber circle, because the canopy sits inside of the edge) after the fan is mounted. You will also need to supply the screws that fit your fan box. These normally come with the fan box. The included screws do not fit US boxes. This is not a hard fan to install, but because it is a little different, it requires some patience. But it is worth the effort.

I got the 60” fan and must say that it is a very good-looking fan. The wood blades are gorgeous and the fan runs very quietly. Although it comes with balancing weights, I didn’t need them. The fan moves a lot of air even at the lowest speed. I can operate the fan and lights, which are surprising bright, with either the included remote or the Tuya app and both work nicely. The shipping was incredibly fast; I received tracking info the next day and the fan arrived days after ordering. Overall, I think this is an amazing fan at an amazing price.

I have had this fan for one week and it makes loud rattling sounds on all but one speed. Installed by licensed electricians with years of experience installing fans. They tried all the troubleshooting tips to stop the rattle…nothing works. The fan is unusable due to noise. This has been a costly mistake. I have 20 foot ceilings and I will have to pay another $500 electrician fee to remove. I strongly recommend NOT to buy.

Took some time to balance the blades. No issues connect to the smart app and linking with google home. Full function in app or through the remote. No wall switch required, wiring was easy to manage and mounting was conventional.Very quiet operation at high speeds. Light brightness meets the needs of the room. Elected the warm light color value. Very pleased!
