I have been in search of a renewable resource paper towel option for minor woodworking and to tap my brush on while hobby painting. These sheets have the texture and consistency of crepe paper; think of regular paper towel milled with some sizing to result in a firm bodied sheet. Especially great for buffing a normal surface, wouldn't use it on delicate lacquers or touch screens. Have also tried bamboo towel rolls but never use them because they are awkward to pull off the roll which makes them much easier to just not use then use for me. If you require a rugged disposable option to get off the worst of the grime from a dirty job, this might be the product for you. If you're stressed out by paper towel rolls, this is the type of item for you. :) If you're an artist who's looking for for working fluid or pigment out of your brushes on, these are awesome imo. These lie flat right out of the gate, and last long enough I can get them well and truly messed up with paint before needing to replace. Alternately, you may find this a little too strong-bodied and textured for everyday hand drying; this manufacturer has a different product for that. If you dislike those Swedish sponges that are stiff as a board when dry but malleable when wet, these are not the product for you.

Nothing like another box of 1 ply kleenex tissue I had. Wanted to use as daily use napkin . This is too rough and poorly absorbant

Honestly, I bought these by mistake. I was sleepily putting together an order, all I saw was the brand name, and so I added them. No way was I returning them after they arrived and I opened a box! The papers are thick and strong, dispense easily, and are stronger than my regular paper towels--they're actually in that range between a kitchen washcloth and paper towel. Mine have lasted longer than I anticipated because I so often just tear the size strip that I need from each sheet. A happy result from my absent-mindedly reading the description wrong.

When I first bought these hand towels from WalMart a few years ago in Canada, they were awesome! Very soft and everyone loved using them. They have disappeared and I ordered these new ones thinking they were the same. They are not! They are so rough and course. Won't buy them again.... Mrs. C. Prevost
