Q: What is the weight limit? Are the rings metal or plastic?

Hi Justin,We recommend 300 pounds, although testing is higher.The handles are a combination of injected PE plastic and metal. There is a metal insert embedded in the plastic eye, as a reinforcement that enables the ring for higher loading than your traditional all plastic triangle trapeze handles.We have provided a diagram on the Listing which helps to provide you more details. Q: Anyone had issues with rusting?

It is coated with plastic except for he very top of the chains (as pictured). We haven't had a rust problem so far.

Q: Can the trapeze bar be taken on and off so the rings can be used independently from each other and not fixed? I would like that option, if possible.
