Good replacement set
Work well. I was hoping to avoid rewiring. Pins matched but plug latch was incompatible, Easy to install.Price for the set was reasonable. Fast delivery!

No more waking up in the middle of the night
Replaced 6 older style smoke detectors, getting false alarms, so basically unplug and plug new one in. Yes turn off the power first. The design is actually nice looking for a smoke detector. They have a soft green LED light which is visible thru the small opening which makes it easy to see if it is working. I have one up on a cathedral ceiling which needs a ladder to get to. Used a 10 yr battery in that one, we'll see. Instructions included if your starting from scratch but probably want to get a professional installer (electrician).

Great product easy to install.
Very easy to install and fit perfectly with the plug type that I had. I was able to install nine of them in just under 30 minutes. It came with the necessary adapters in the event I had to change out the plug type. The best part is, they were manufactured very close to when I receive them, which allows me to maximize the 10 year lifespan.

Easy install....EXCEPT for the plug!
Good price and replacement was fairly easy for this 75 year old handy man. BUT..............after re-wiring everything, plugging in the new plug into the unit was extremely difficult. Why they make the plug so difficult to plug in is beyond me. A least I got it done and all 6 units are interconnected and working as they should. Damn those plugs..............!!!!!

Safety first!
My old smoke detectors started going off randomly at all times of the day and night. When I took them down, I realized that they were installed in 2007! Being a responsible adult, I knew I had to just replace them all. This 6 pack covered my whole house. Installation was super easy, a woman with no handy man skills got it done in 30 mins. (Me lol) They are hardwired into my home, test button tells me they’re working. They don’t just go off for no reason at 2 am like my previous detectors, that is the biggest plus! So, now I can feel safe and secure in my home again. And, it’s MUCH quieter.

easy to install
at a very good price, they were pretty easy to install, they replaced ones that were on the ceiling, so we had to use a ladder, but other than that they were easy to install, I put it off purchasing them because I was afraid I would get something that was hard to install, our old smoke alarms were going off in the middle of the night, so nice to have peace of mind.
