See Kai Run Asher First Walker (Infant/Toddler/Big Kid)

Perfect toddler shoes. I wish SKR made more shoes with this sole style, as it's their most flexible and most like barefoot walking, as the sole is zero drop and the outer stitching design allows for a wider toe box. These shoes accommodate my 2 year old son's extra wide feet and he loves wearing them. He wore them for the first time during a lengthy zoo trip and there were no complaints. I'm sad we will outgrow this style at size 9 (he's in a 7) and their Kai line has very stiff soles with no give at all. Boo.Update 9-9-14My son just outgrew these and he wore these and the SKR "Craig" sandals all summer. He never complained that they hurt his feet at all. The sandals (worn almost daily) took a beating, but these still look pretty good. The only negative with the softer leather is that they scuff easily. I noticed that with the fall lineup, SKR has re-designed their Kai line with different soles! We may be able to continue wearing this brand after all!

Great quality. Very stable. Pediatric podiatry approved with softer, flexible soles that still protect my son's feet in the playground gravel and everywhere else. The most important thing you can do for your toddler's growing, changing feet is to purchase appropriate footwear. See Kai Run understands this by creating American Podiatric Society approved footwear. These are well worth the price paid. Nike, Adidas, etc. are marketed for toddler and even infant footwear, but are inappropriate for baby/toddler's growing feet since they all have hard soles which interfere in development-plus the price is high for those brands. See Kai Run is the best product. Soft leather. Attractive styling. My son has regular width feet and these shoes work well which needs to be mentioned since several other reviews specifically mentioned that they work well for wide, fat feet. The only item on the shoes that I would suggest changing is the faux laces- make them a different color other than bright white since toddlers explore and get a little dirty.

We were looking for a flexible-soled shoe and bought these and the Leonardo style of See Kai Run shoes. While the sole was more flexible on this shoe, my son (who has wide feet) seemed to prefer the Leonardo style instead. Cosmetically, I wasn't a huge fan of the stitching around the sole of this shoe and I wonder if kids would trip on the extended sole on the front.

Not very breathable. His feet gets sweaty after a short period of time wearing it (even with socks on). It is not what the description said about the "Breathable leather lining". A bit disappointed. it is a good shoe in terms of softness and fits well.

I bought these shoes in blue/orange for my son as his first pair of walking shoes. We love them so much that I ordered the grey/green pair in the next size up. My son has a wider foot and didn't fit in a few other brands including Striderites. These See Kai Run shoes fit his chubby foot comfortably and are supportive yet flexible and perfect for a new walker.

Love these shoes for my new walker. He has wide and quick growing feet, the first pair I ordered after measuring his feet and he outgrew them within a week. Had to exchange and go up a size and these are great with a little room to grow. Colors are great and match with everything.

Adorable and functional for an early walking boy with chubby feet!! The shoes have a nice very flexible sole that is still thick enough to protect his feet and they are holding up well. I am very happy with these shoes!

These shoes came apart at the toe due to the folded-over stitching after only a few wears. I will not buy this style of see kai run again - very disappointed!
