SCISSOR CAR WHEEL JACK WIND UP for MAZDA 6

I waited over 6 weeks to receive this scissor jack due to a dispute with the supplier and the carrier (Yodel) who claimed that the goods had been delivered to my address some weeks earlier and signed for. However upon receipt of the delivery note the signature on it was clearly not mine. At no stage was any concern shown by the supplier that my signature had been falsified (it wasn't even forged as it looked nothing like my signature) I offered to supply a copy of my signature from my passport/drivers licence for comparison purposes but this was not taken up. On this count I was disappointed that the supplier did not persue this matter more vigorously with Yodel. Yodel insisted that they had delivered the Scisssor Jack (Where?) . I also rejected the suppliers offer of a replacement Scissor Jack if I contributed £7.50 towards its cost.At this stage it was now a matter of principal on my part as this £20 Scissor Jack could well have been a product valued at £200 or more, lost/wrongly delivered or otherwise by the carrier.Eventually the Supplier agreed to replace the Scissor Jack .The Scissors Jack itself looks fine and hopefully I will not have cause to use it. Ironically, whilst waiting for this car jack to be delivered my car suffered a blow out and I had to purchase an additional Scissor jack from Halfords (Which on reflection I should have done in the first place!).

I know the max weight was not specified but was hoping for at least a 1.5 ton, sadly it's only 1 ton. I have read of many failures with weaker 1 ton scissor jacks so i'm worried. Hope I never have to use it in real puncture situations, as I have a large hydraulic jack for use at home, much safer.The packaging was torn as too tight a box IMO. and is a pig to fit back into box.

Works well with a Mazda 6. Easily changed a wheel using it.

Not used it, hope I never will but needed it just in case! It seems ok.

It's a car jack made to use on a Mazda 6. What more can be said.
