I don't know how many will survive a transplant but, if I can update this I will! They really didn't sprout until i put them on the heat mat. Can't wait to grow actual peppers!!!!! Review: True Moruga Scorpions - I planted these shortly after they arrived, probably in March or April, and I followed the directions as read. The plants (2) did come up, and they have grown beautifully, but they only had probably 6 maybe 8 blooms on them. It has taken a while, but I do have one pepper growing on the plant. It is exactly what the company said was in the growing canister. I am babying this little Scorpion, trying to get this Pepper pod to maturity. The bottom line is, the seeds in the container are what they said they were, the growing instructions worked, but we have to wait on Mother Nature. I had also ordered some Carolina Reapers from another company, but they were fakes. They were just chili peppers. This company gets 5 stars for honesty. I will post a pic later and update. I’m happy with my one little pepper. Lisa Cox Blountville, Tn.

No peppers yet, but nice foliage so far!
I received this product just short of 3 months ago. The canister that the seeds are housed in does a pretty good job of helping the seeds germinate quickly. I'm not sure how well the plants would grow in the container itself; after I got sprouts, I transplanted the seedlings to 5" pots with peat-moss/seed starter soil. I had two seedlings emerge from canister in which the seeds are housed. However, one of the seedlings died shortly after transplanting. Truth be told, I was transplanting the plants from the original container because I wanted to save both in order to have two plants, instead of what I was expecting (which was one). The other seedling, however, took the transplant well and continued to grow in the new 5" pot. The plant didn't grow exceptionally fast though until I transplanted it to its final destination, which is the pot that is shown in the photo. But, when it started to really grow, it did so exponentially! I am also happy to note that allegedly this type of pepper can self-pollinate (fingers crossed!). Regardless, I'll post an update when/if I get some peppers.

Waste of money, unless you want the can.
Despite the numerous 1-star reviews, I trusted the seller's response that "Less than 1% of our customers have had a problem growing this" and gave it a shot. I'm no gardening novice, and have grown peppers every year for the past decade, both from seeds, and from plants. I followed the directions on the packaging, kept the can under a heat lamp, and nothing ever sprouted. Looks like I'm part of this fabled "1%" of customers who couldn't get this product to grow. Out of curiosity, I dumped the contents of the can out and spent a few minutes sifting through it. I didn't see anything that even remotely resembled a seed. It's certainly possible that I missed them, but there was definitely no plant growth; just the soil mixture and cotton balls. Very disappointing, as I wanted to try adding this to my ever-spicier hot sauce recipe.

Very happy with the seeds!
Bought 3 just to make sure I didn't have dud cans, all 3 actually sprouted 2 seedlings each. I transplanted them into dirt immediately when they sprouted so they wouldn't grow and intertwine in the cotton/ sand mix in the can. All 6 are doing very well so far in soil at 4 weeks of growth. I guess we're gonna have a lot of hot peppers this year, lol.

GREAT
you have to make sure like almost 10 hours of sun for that can and ensure it warm can when you feel because you not sure how it wok but my first rookie of gardening and i learned from this really easy as i figured out you just do keep water feeding when it almost full can then wait for tomorrow PLUS make it on sun direct to cause make warm make seed wake and thrive quicker and RIGHT NOW i have like 6 plants in one can and has transferred recently and still good even not it still young but thriving good but in mind make sure feed water as full can then put on sun direct and it would working for you and it NOT DUD!!! i swear to you i have picture of witnessed for you folks

Not worth it
I bought this for my bf that loves spicy food. We planted them but they only grew a little then died. We then tried to plant just the seeds in starter pots but they didn’t grow at all. :/

This is one of the plants I didnt take good care of
Easy grow, little care… transplant into larger pot like regular pepper plants for larger yield and plant size… be patient they do take longer to produce than other peppers… Extremely hot!
