I love this product. Just make sure the button magnet is turned facing the handle so the magnets can connect.

Cool concept, but a bit too small…
I was really excited to receive this tea kettle because I’ve been wanting to use tea leaves more instead of bags. This kettle has been nice to use, but there is some room for improvement and due to these areas needing improvement, I find I don’t use it as often as I had hoped. Let’s start with quality. The quality is good overall, but the handle and lid look cheap with the wood appearance, yet plastic material. Also, the glass is pretty thin. I definitely don’t think it would survive being dropped even from a short distance. The design is very interesting though and easy to use. Just place tea leaves in top beaker portion, fill with hot water and steep as long as you want. The longer the steep, the stronger the tea flavor. Once you’re ready to drink it, just lift or push the tip of the handle inward and the steeped water will flow through the sift filter mechanism into the bottom portion of the kettle and pour it into your cup. The sift filter built in the top beaker has to be lined up with the handle, otherwise the top beaker won’t sit correctly and it will not work properly. Its very easy to clean. I choose to clean it by hand to avoid damage and extend its longevity. The room for improvement areas: size and time consuming factor. It only makes a small cup of tea at a time. Its not that practical for more than one person and with how long it takes to steep the tea leaves to get a strong flavor; it’s cumbersome to have to wait to make more than one cup. Also, the drips out of the filter rather slowly, so you have to wait to steep it and then wait to sift it once its steeped before you can pour to drink it. The quality of the tea is nice; little tea leaf remnants in the water once sifted. Overall, its not an expensive kettle, so I’d say its on par for function and quality with the price and I’d still recommend it especially if you only ever drink one cup at a time and don’t mind the time needed to steep and sift and repeat if making another cup. The smaller size is definitely a positive if you intend to travel with it too.

Like the Design, Not Fond of the Quality of Parts
The media could not be loaded. Pros: I liked the design of this, and it's perfect for a personal ginger and lemon tea I have first thing in the morning.Cons: I was fooled into thinking it had quality plastic, if not wood, furniture. IMHO, it has cheap-looking, quality-wise, plastic-grade furniture all around. It also has rubber parts stuck to the glass for fitment. Too many glued-on plastic and rubber parts, and chincy plastic to boot. Lastly, the glass is too thin, it needs to be more robust. I feel like I am going to break this in ordinary handling.
