Informative, fun to read and good recipes
I have many Dutch cookbooks, but most are recipes only and do not come with a history. This book covers historical origins of a fruit, vegetable or celebration. My family enjoys reading about "their ancestors" and enjoy the Dutch dishes immensely. Amazingly, many recipes are so easy to make and come out delicious!

They are perfect and easily explained
We lived in Holland for 3 and a half years. The recipes in this book brought back so many memories. They are perfect and easily explained. I wish everyone would by this and try these delicious recipes!!
