Excellent suit. Excellent purchase.
I am an amateur beekeeper and just used this suit for the first time yesterday, and the second time today. It is absolutely wonderful and designed with intelligence. Very good airflow. Very light weight. Very comfortable. 🐝ing new to 🐝 keeping I was worried about stings, but 3 minutes into my first experience I never thought about it again. Very secure 🐝 suit. I am 5'8" (and a half), and about 165-175lbs. I ordered a large and it fit just right. The legs are long enough to tuck into my shoes. If I was a little taller I might have gone a size up cause this fits just right. The gloves are a good deal too big on me, and cause issues with the finger tips going past my fingers. But I have relatively small hands, so this isn't surprising. Would be nice if I could have gotten a separate size gloves with the set. Awesome that it has two veils for the suit. I haven't decided which I like better, but so far it's the full wrap around veil. Not the fencing veil. I look forward to many years of using this suit. Excellent company who made a product with lots of care and consideration.

Comfortable and safe
As a new beekeeper I have been trying to learn how and when I need to wear protection. I’m am lazy and didn’t want to take the time to put on a suit every time I needed to get into the hive but after several stings in one day and a adverse reaction, the decision was made that I really need to wear protective gear most of the time when dealing with them. After researching for days, I decided on this product because it checked the most boxes for my needs. First off I did not want a white suit which is the majority of what is sold ( white for outdoors is all around bad for me ). That narrowed down my choices by a lot so then it was based on how secure the suit was ( closures, fabric, etc.) This suit has zippers and Velcro on the wrists, ankles, and the main front entry which is super nice to secure the end of the zipper holes from sneaky bees getting in. The price point was a little higher for this suit but it is definitely worth it in my opinion and it is still less than other high end suit that are probably very similar in quality and durability. It is decently lightweight and has good ventilation. I didn’t notice any funny smells other than what would be expected from a new garment wrapped in plastic in a plastic storage bag. I did follow the sizing recommendations of ordering the size according to your height or the largest of what is needed. I’m almost 6’ but only weight 145 ish and bought an XL because I needed the length in the legs. Although it’s baggy I don’t mind because I get air Flo through it and can layer if needed. It seems to be a great suit for my needs and I am extremely happy with it so far.

Great suit for new beekeepers- great protection at a great price.
I wasn’t sure I would like being a beekeeper so I started out with a cheap cotton suit for like $40-50. It was decent protection but if the bees were agitated, you’d better have another layer under it or they could still get to you. It was also hella hot. If I had it to do over, I would have started with a better suit. I recently bought the US Keepers 3 layer vented suit on Amazon. I was pleased with the fit and it came with both the round and fencing veil for about $140. It would have made my first year so much easier had I ponied up for the better suit to start with. Part of the issue as a new beekeeper is that the bees can sense your anxiety and can react negatively to it. With the better suit, you are less prone to worry about stings so you can focus more about what you are doing, being more fluid and careful, thus disturbing them less. And, because you aren’t as hot, you aren’t trying to rush through before you stroke out. Great suit for the money. The only thing I would chage is to possibly make the brim on the round veil cover just a hair larger. It fits fine and doesn't touch my face but it would "feel much better with another inch on the diameter.

A really decent ventilated suit for the price
After watching a video review on this and reading some of the other reviews, I decided to take a chance. I have worn this veiled suit a few times now and overall, I do like it. I did take the advice of others about the suit running small and went one size up than I normally do. Based on the sizing chart, I was just within the top measurements and this suit is just a smidge snug. But definitely not uncomfortable. I definitely feel like this was a great value and worth the purchase. Pros: The suit seems to be of a very excellent quality. The zippers seem to be very good quality and not plastic. Unlike some other suits, I feel very comfortable with the velcro covers to the zippers as well. Very well placed, and doubled up on the neck. Velcro for the ankles and wrists (Thank you!) The fencing veil (once adjusted) is pretty comfortable and is not restrictive around the neck like some other suits. The zipper to open the front is a nice little bonus. Lots of pockets. I kind of like having the hive tool pockets on the upper arm. For us "shapely" folks, I do like how it isn't tight around the backside area. Kneeling and bending over feels very comfortable and I don't get that "riding up" feeling from this suit. Cons: The regular hat veil is definitely small like what other reviews have stated. I haven't even tried it as it looks like it should be on a kid's suit. Without adjusting (see helpful notes below), the fencing veil does lay against your face. I definitely suggest wearing a hat as well. The gloves that come with are a bit tight around the arms. Also, the gloves tend to shift a bit. It would have been a bit better to add some velcro to the wrist area on them as well. Suit is definitely pushing sizing limits. Definitely suggest using the "biggest" size that any of your measurements hit (It is stated correctly in the sizing description). A review stated that the leg zippers aren't long enough to be able to slide past boots. I will agree with that. You will most likely need to remove your shoes before taking the suit off. Notes: Some reviews were complaining about the fencing veil on how it lays against your face. I found three things that help with that immensely. First is the strong velcro at the top. Make sure to pull the veil all the way out and attach it to hold the top as open as possible. Secondly, the bottom has a sturdy piece that is actually bendable. Bend it out to a more rounded shape and there will be less chance of it laying against your chin. And thirdly, just wear a rimmed hat underneath to give some extra support.

Thick breathable high quality material
High quality product that I recommend I’m 5’9 male 197 lbs and the Xl is the perfect size for me. I was thinking of getting a large but read that a size bigger is the way to go they weren’t wrong. If I went with a large which is what the chart says fits me, it technically would still get the job done but I would have limited movement hopefully this helps you guys make a decision on size.

Fits well good quality
The USKEEPERS 3-Layer Ultra Ventilated Bee Suit has completely changed my beekeeping experience. Working in the heat used to be a challenge, but this suit makes it comfortable and worry-free. It provides the perfect balance of robust protection and superior airflow. Comfort & Ventilation: The standout feature is the three-layer poly-cotton mesh fabric. The intersecting layers of fabric sit high, effectively keeping the bees away from your skin while allowing air to circulate freely. This design lets breezes in and sweat evaporate, which is a massive relief on hot days. It's incredibly lightweight, making long hours in the apiary much more manageable

Works for me!
Why did you pick this product vs others?: This probably says more about me than my bees, but I’ve been stung well over 100 x’s over the past three years alone (seriously!). I’ve always used a hooded bee jacket and gloves with regular jeans, but would still get the occasional sting here and there - a few instances of a couple dozen. This year I have a VERY defensive hive that swarms me anytime I begin to open the top. My last inspection, I was stung over 30 x’s on the torso as I leaned forward (didn’t have my jacket cinched tight enough…up they went! Afraid I will fall over due to anaphylactic shock one of these days, so I bought this suit. I couldn’t be happier! Yea, one sizing issue: I bought a large based on other reviews to size up. 5’ 8” 150#, rode up in the crotch a bit, if I was taller I’d probably have an issue, but the hood had much more room, seemed odd. Very roomy though, so if you’re wider, I don’t think you’d have an issue. Also glove fingers were a little snug, so if you have sausage fingers, this may become an issue… Pros - (1) loved the full body coverage. (2) double lined mesh everywhere to allow air flow but keep stingers out. (3) solid material is thick and padded knees. (4) extra velcro at the hood, wrists and knees…all bueno! All in all, very happy I upgraded! This is a solid option that worked for me. I inspected during 83 F with 65% humidity, did I sweat a little…yea…but when out in the open with a little breeze, it cut through the mesh and felt great! All of my bee buddies inspect without any coverage. Good for them, not me… I’ve learned my lesson - on any given day or year you may end up with a hive from hell like me and be glad you have this suit ready to go!

Met my expectations; sizing is not accurate - buy up to 2 sizes larger
I had a yellow jackets nest in the ground next to the foundation of my home. They were rather aggressive, my wife got stung, we had to address this problem in our backyard before the nest grows out of control. I did not feel comfortable approaching the next without protective wear, so I bought this suit. I am about 6'3" tall, my size is usually XLT, when I get XL, sleeves are usually on the short size. I suspected this suit will be smallish, and sure it was. I got 3XL, two sizes over my usual size, and it was just right, if not a tad tight in some places and a little loose in others, but all things considered, I do not wear it all day long, as a safety suit for a shot time it was a good fit. It came in a carrying case, more like a transparent plastic bag than a case, the suit was nicely folded inside, and I am very confident that there is no chance for me to fold it the same way again to make it fit back into that case. It comes with two veils. I am not a bee keeper, I had no idea how to use this suit, and there is no manual. Luckily, Amazon description was clear enough to figure out that one does not need to put on both veils, it is either one or the other. Having said that, before I figured it out, I put on both and it worked, too. The zippers are a little stiff at times and material of the suit is such that it likes to get into the zipper, so one has to be careful when zipping it. It is easier to zip yourself up with someone's help. The suit feels somewhat warm, I did not expect anything different because it has to protect from stinging wasps and bees. I am guessing that working outside on a hot day may be a little uncomfortable. I cannot comment on this from own experience, though, because I went out to spray the nest after sunset when it started cooling down and when wasps' activity subsided. I also managed to fit a red light on my head into the vail (because I read that wasps cannot see red, so I did not want to use while light). Overall, good protective gear which makes one feel much safer around stinging creatures. I look like an astronaut in it. A fancy suit for sure. I am sure it will find uses in the following summers because we occasionally find nests outside of the house, oftentimes hiding under the roof. Dealing with them in protective suit is much less stressful.
