The green one is a senior formula, it is chicken broth for most of the varieties.

Q: Why is this flavor more expensive than the other flavors?

I have no idea but you can get it and the flaked chicken one at chewy for less. chicken is $8 and the tuna for seniors is $7.52. Don't get me wrong I am a loyal customer of Amazon. It is my go to shopping site but the third party seller of this item is chaging way too much. Otherwise my cats love this flavor and the chicken one.
