The bristles are a little stiff, but I knew they would be. I like that the brush has 2 sides. I have 2 Yorkies. One has silky hair, and the other has thick wavy hair, so I can use both sides. I would give it a 5 star if the bristles weren't so stiff.

My cat's favorite brush has gone missing so I went on a search for a new one. He's sensitive about some of the bristles on cat brushes that are too harsh on his skin so I chose this one because it clearly has the little plastic balls that are gentler than just direct wire points. I also like that this brush is a 2-in-1. I'd never used a bristle brush on my cat but am realizing how nice it is to brush down his fur after using the wire side to get out a lot of the under coat. I also like that the brush is a bit narrow at the top, this allows for better head brushing. Overall, I think the brush is great and my cat loves it. However, two things I would improve, if I could...first is that previous wire brushes I've used had a slight bend in the bristles. This seemed to allow the brush to get deep under the top coat and really tease out the loose hairs under better. This brush just has straight bristles and it just takes a bit more time to groom him. Second is that the bristle brush side is not easy to clean. I mean, it makes sense since the bristles are so dense and I don't really have a suggestion to fix this - just something to be aware of. I can usually get most of the hair out, but think it's definitely going to build up over time.

We use this on our Morkie everyday as her hair can get tangled after an entire day of playtime. It’s the perfect size for her, it’s a great detangling brush especially on her arms and tail. The shape is also useful in brushing around her eyes and face. The more condensed side of the brush catches hair and makes her hair shiny too. She doesn’t really shed but this helps in revealing her more adult hair. Easy to clean. It doesn’t hurt her when we brush her with it (I was afraid it would be a little too rough for her). It seems to be very relaxing for her, when I brush her body and head with the detangler she dozes off lol.

There's no need to spend a lot on a daily brush - this is perfect, and a great size for my maltese/poodle. He loves being brushed every day and the wire bristles are great for detagling, while the rounded tips make it gentle and relaxing - I really don't like using slicker brushes because they're so rough, especially when his hair is shorter. We use the soft bristle side on his face. One wire bristle popped out, but it hasn't affected things. As long as it doesn't keep happening, this is a 10/10 purchase

My daughter sent me this, she uses for her cat. Well I want to like it, but it is just not functional for me to use on my pets. I have a medium hair cat & a German Shepherd. The wire bristles are too far apart, and the black bristles are to close together to use on the cat. The wire side works on my dog, bristles not, but it's too small for a dog of his size. It is great for removing pet hair from a blanket or furniture.

Both sides of the brush work as intended,made well so it should last,meow likes it x)

Okay. Got this to take out small burrs. Didn't work for those. Cat likes the soft side for face brushing. Quality is good, colour is good.

I've had other brushes, but my cat likes this one. Especially the wire side. He let's me brush him more often now, so I'm happy with this purchase.
