Perfect!

I went from Claris road shifter/brake to this Claris straight bar shifter/brake installed by my LBS. I took my gravel bike for a spin immediately when I picked it up and was sooo pleased on how smooth it shifted and the brake worked nicely. The only thing I don’t like it that it doesn’t have numbers visible to see what gear you are in other than that it is awesome.

Great for a multi-road surface bicycle.

I bought a decent road racing bike for a great price, but needed to switch the handlebars to a flat style. I ordered the handlebars from Amazon plus brake lever kits. Crazily the bar never came in but the brake levers did, so I took a handlebar off another bike I had and put the levers on it. They work very well and I am an older bicyclist and believe the name shimano still means decent quality. No issues thus far.

Claris line is great for Hybrids!

Worked as expected with full claris groupset. Amazingly in comparison to stock components that came with my hybrid Schwinn Volare 1200
