Rough Country 2.5" Lift Kit w/N3 Shocks for 2018-2023 Jeep Wrangler JL - 67730

Installed with my buddy in the driveway in less than two hours. 2020 Rubicon JL 2 door. The shocks included in this kit are fantastic compared to the factory rubicon ones. Everything was included including the bump stops and good directions. All you need is two jack stands and a floor jack and you’re good to go. Clears my Toyo Open Country RT’s perfectly. The rear washer and nut that holds the rear spacer was welded off center. The bolt will not start because it hits the washer.Ran the bolt from the other side to maybe cut a bit of washer with the bolt. It was hard and flattening threads. So pulled it back out. This small problem will leave you at a point of no return. You have to use this to finish the project and your stuck until it's installed.Called rough country. Just to let them know about the issue. I did not want a part shipped or anything. Because I can use a Dremel and grind out the washer to make room for the bolt. Just wanted to make them aware of the minor issue. The rest of the install went perfect. The customer service thanked me for the call.The lift on a rubicon makes it look like you put a 4 inch lift when running 35s. So if your doing 37s.It will still have plenty of wheel well room.The instructions are good, however there are a few steps that you do not need to do to get this installed.For the front. You do not need to unbolt your front drive shaft. And you do not need to unbolt your panhard bar. Only disconnect the sway bar links, brake line and speed sensor brackets & the locker wire. You can get the front installed. Note: do the drivers side first. That way on passenger you have more play to get the spring in when doing that side.For the rear, you will have to unbolt the panhard bar like the instructions say.

No complaints at all. This kit did exactly as described with no issues whatsoever. My Jeep looks much better now and fits 35” tires with no problem at all.

Rides pretty rough compared to the fox shocks on my other jeep. Price is key I supposed. Wouldn’t buy again.

The product overall is great, but you will need one more part to maintain the factory ride quality. That part is the control arm relocation bracket. They say you don’t need it for a 2.5 lift but you really do. In my opinion they should slightly raise the cost of the kit and include the relocation arm brackets.

Lift is easy to install with a floor jack and a couple jack stands. I have 35 inch tires but could most likely put up to a 37 with this lift installed. Shocks provide a stiffer ride for sure. Less roll etc.

Missing a bag and had to buy bolts and nuts.All spacers are plastic, not metal as stated in description. Wont last

The lift was great once installed however, we were missing a whole bag that contained bolts for the back sway bar and had to go buy new bolts mid install. Not a huge deal if we would have caught it before the install but the bag wasn’t even listed on the kit content page as being needed. It’s not until we got to the rear install instructions where the missing bag (Bag 1) was listed for install but not included in the kit. Again not a huge deal as they are easily purchased at a parts store but when you pay upwards of $400 for a kit you kinda assume the pieces will all arrive with correct instructions.
