Works as Advertised, Wonderful Taste
I have low stomach acid and regularly takes betaine HCL supplements to help with my digestion. When I replaced the betaine HCL capsules that I regularly use with these gummies for several days, my digestion remained fine. Ordinarily if I'm not taking enough betaine HCL, I would immediately have issues with my skin, so based on this I can say with confidence that these gummies work perfectly fine as the more commonly available betaine HCL capsules. The gummies themselves have a decent consistency that is easy to chew, not too hard and not too mushy. They have a genuinely delicious orange flavor that makes them a pleasure to eat. They are a little bit more expensive on a per serving basis compared to some of the other betaine HCL capsules for sale on the market, but if you want a betaine supplement that is in gummy form and generally much easier to eat, these will fulfill that need perfectly and are worthy of consideration.

Use to treat Homocystinuria, no other reason to take as supplement
Vaite Store sells a lot of nutritional supplements in the form of fruit-flavored gummies; I have reviewed several, and today it's the turn for "Betaine HCL 1000 mg Chewable Gummies – Daily Digestive Routine – Helps with Digestion and Nutrient Utilization – Vegan, Non-GMO, Gluten-Free – 60 Count".This bottle contains bear-shaped gummies; their color is orange, but the taste seems to indicate a mixture of a few flavors, orange with perhaps a hint of mango or grapefruit (not very pronounced). The taste is good, nothing to write home about.WIth a serving size of 1 gummy, the bottle generously provides supply for 60 days. Each serving delivers...Betaine hydrochloride at 1 gram. This is an amino-acid used for treatment of homocystinuria. Homocystinuria is an inherited disorder of the metabolism of the amino acid methionine. It is congenital, and at present not curable.Sorbitol liquid, xylitol 120 mg: not a nutrient, it is a sugar substitute.I found no reason for this product to be classified as a "nutritional supplement" to help digestion, as claimed by the ad. It is only useful for the treatment of the specific condition described above, and I think it should be taken only under the direction of medical professionals. That said, the dose seems very good, and the gummy form will probably please children suffering from the condition, so I rate it four stars.

Absolutely LOVE These!
The biggest issue with heartburn and reflux is that you actually don't have enough stomach acid. If you take products that reduce it, then it keep reocurring. The answer is to increase it which is what Betaine HCL claims to do. In the past I've used other Betaine products. I probably won't stop taking them, but I was running low and the one I wanted was out of stock so I got this.First off, who doesn't like Gummy Bears, which is the shape these are. Add a nice orange flavor and that's a plus. I ate one in the morning, and it lasted all day. To be honest, most instructions for Betaine is to take them with each meal. I was out later in the day and didn't have anything with me but stopped for wings and a beer. By the time I got home I was uncomfortable. Took another one of these (and offered one to my wife and she loved the taste and she's picky) and my tummy camed down in about 15-20 minutes. If you don't like capsules, these are a very good alternative.

Useless without Pepsin
I was a bit concerned that the instructions indicate that this product should be taken on an empty stomach, and that it "May cause minor, transient GI discomfort" since that is what I intended to take it for...and it does indeed cause "discomfort ". Not what I was looking for.The reason seems to be (if Copilot is to be believed) that Betaine HCL MUST be taken with Pepsin, or you're just injesting more acid. Also, of the other ingredients, xylitol and citric acid are not nice on the stomach (though pectin is).So, I don't know what health issues this product is intended to address, but it doesn't seem to be a digestive aid.

Have MTHFR genetics?? Betaine aka TMG - how I love thee !! PERFECT for bedtime routine.
I have MTHFR genetics so Betaine, how I love thee!! Betaine is also known as TMG - tri methyl glycine or three methyl groups of glycine. Glycine is an amino acid found in meat food sources particularly the skin, bones and connective tissue (this is why bone soup is so healing!!) Glycine is VITAL for building healthy collagen for healthy skin and joints, blood vessels and repairing connective tissue while being utilized for detoxing and perhaps most importantly used for calming the nervous system for improved sleep especially when taken in the evening. Need to balance blood glucose and fat metabolism or those with MTHFR genetics do you need to balance B9 folate, B12 cobalamin or choline?? TMG Betaine to the rescue. Glycine itself is found in bone broth, gelatin and slow cooked meats.Glycine is sooo incredibly healing it's used in IV nutrition for trauma recovery. Let that sink in a moment. As glycine is a REQUIRED and ESSENTIAL nutrient it's considered generally very safe up to extremely high doses with only mild GI upset at the most extreme levels (far more than this entire bottle!!)These Betaine gummies have a mild citrus flavor. I LOVE taking these as part of my bedtime routine as they help me slide into a healthy sleep mode. To this effect they pair well with a quality magnesium supplement and GABA enhancing supplements such as kava kava passionflower drops.
