Worked Great. Used it to anchor outdoor shades and trellis

Work perfectly, used for hanging string lights won’t slip. Good quality I have long strings of the larger bulbs much heavier than tiny lights and these adjuster/ clips work fine.

These seem to have a good finish. I didn't notice any sharp edges and is correctly sized for a 5mm cable. They hold well. Assembly is a little difficult. I'm using these with stainless steel cable that has a clear plastic cover. It's slightly difficult to get the cable to stay in the groove while trying to tighten the plate and nuts because the cable keeps wanting to pop out of the groove. I had to use some channel lock pliers to force the cable deep enough into the groove before trying to install the plate. It might just be that this cable is pretty stiff. I did notice that the nuts had loosened up overnight so there is some settling, at least with this particular cable so be sure to check the nuts in a day or so. I'm a little concerned with how magnetic it is for 304 SS but that could just be the result of the properties changes from cold working. These will be outside so I'll update if I notice an rust formation.

Great but note your wire size

The trick to clamping these is to do it twice, clamp, then loosen, then clamp again. The first tighten will force the wire in partially and when you loosen the clamp part and then re-tighten it will force the wire in all the way and you can clamp it down hard. Look good and the stainless makes them harder to get rusty.
