Yagua Liquid Crystal Label Thermometer

The first time I used it I thought I bought a dud as it wasn't changing colours. I soon realised that I wasn't waiting long enough.Initially, nothing happens and then quite quickly the green colour starts tracking up the sticker as the temperature rises.It helped me realise I need to froth my milk for longer than I had been.I've had it a few weeks now and it's working well and sticking nicely to my metal jug.

A very simple but effective thermometer. Use on a metal milk frother and works very well.

Attached to a small, steel jug this is a handy visual aid to avoid over- or under-heating the milk and help with consistency. After a few weeks' use I'm happier with my results than when trying to gauge temperature by touch. It seems well-made, and the adhesive has so far withstood daily use and washing.

The media could not be loaded. As you can see in the video, the plastic film seal that encases the entire unit has completely come away, exposing the crystal blocks. These are now permanently green due to the water contamination. All of this from a very soft hand wash! Avoid like the plague.

Not a great stick especially as my jugs are not straight sided. I prefer a bell bottom jug for good milk frothing.

An older purchase on a more standard pitcher had great longevity and results it was slightly off but that was more due to my application. However I've tried buying two recently and both had to be returned because they were not sticking properly and the outer plastic came off both times rendering them useless.
