Great quality for the price. This umbrella is easy to use and the color and material are great in the Hawaiian sun. I did have to rig up a small anchor to keep it from blowing off into the wind! Overall, happy with it.

Our pool is on the bay and the winds can blow all day long with unexpected strong gusts. Im not sure about 38 mph but it has held up to 30 mph for sure. It is a very pretty umbrella.

Couldn’t handle a gust of wind. To call this connector piece aluminum is a stretch. This broke off more like plastic. Broke on the 31st day we got it so not covered under warranty. Couldn’t find a way to message the seller so spent 20 minutes on phone with Amazon trying to get help with it. Was nice while it lasted, but it didn’t last.

The hinge broke after 3 months, the umbrella will no longer stay open
