DEERC Super Great RC Value..
Im a avid RC Collector and this was my first DEERC purchase. I love the truck and it's quality and super fast. Amazon had a great deal like $40 off. I may buy another. I customized it with a Breast Cancer Awareness theme.

Loads of high speed fun!
An excellent toy for “kids” of all ages! My wife loves it! Best of all, it is in her favorite color of pink!

Very slow and super light. Built cheap
Super slow and doesn't look as cool in person. This truggy realistically goes about 15 mph and its supposed to go 30 mph Highly disappointed and sent it back after running it for about 10 minutes

Fun Car/Truck for Price
New to the RC world so not much to compare it to. This product is better than I imagined, for the price. It moves pretty good and is durable. This is after a few uses. I will report back if it doesn't last, but currently I'm impressed.

The little pink engine that just CAN'T.
I really wanted to like this one, but it just misses the mark for the price. At $120, you'd expect more than just a flashy shell (the pink burns my eyes). Underneath all that Barbie-pink plastic is a basic brushed setup with no real room to grow. Everything’s sealed in tight, which looks clean, but makes upgrading impossible. You’re also stuck having to break in the brushed motor before running it hard, which just feels outdated for this price point. The controller feels like something made for a toddlers toy, super basic, no tuning options, just cheap small light plastic.. Then there’s the battery situation: two proprietary lithium-ion packs made from 18650s in a plastic housing, using a T-style plug mounted directly to the chassis when connecting to the RC. Not only is it a weird design choice, but it also boxes you into their battery system unless you mod it. There’s zero support for LiPo or 3S options unless you start tearing out apart and start cutting plastic covers. It does move fairly fast and handles decent even with the whole 7.4V it pushes, but overall it's pretty disappointing especially for a 1/10. DEERC has been known for being a hobby grade RC manufacturer although they have been slipping as you can see. For beginners or casual use, maybe but if you want real performance, this one’s just not worth getting. Just because it's pink doesn't mean cutting corners would go unnoticed.

Great toy truck despite the annoying battery
Anyone saying that this thing is akin to a hobby grade RC car is not familiar with hobby grade RC cars. Yes, for a toy this is very good, but compared to a hobby grade RC model it isn't even remotely close to being there which is not a fair comparison for a toy.Anyway, for a toy it is a solid little truck. This will be way more stout and way more peppy than anything you're going to pick up at the usual toy stores, so in that realm it's quite a few steps above everyone else. It holds up well to abuse and is quite peppy for a little brushed toy truck. It will perform well in pretty much any environment and any kid will be super stoked with it.The batteries in this run forever and being lithium-ion can be left charged unlike most other RC cars that run lipos. The USB charger will take a long time to charge compared to a normal battery charger and without some unique adapters these cannot be charged on a normal battery charger and be balance charged like they should. I understand this simplifies and neatens up the battery tray for this truck, but it really limits battery options down the line, especially for charging. You can run a normal lipo with a Deans T-plug, but will have limited options. For a toy this truck is great. Solid, fun, quick and it looks great. It is a bit pricey for a toy, but again, for a toy this is about as good as it gets. My only real complaint is the semi-proprietary battery setup, otherwise it's a great little truck that any kid would absolutely love.

Talk about fun!
Wow, this truck is so much fun! I'm in my '50s and I still have a great time with it. My wife has a smaller RC car and we've been racing around the neighborhood street having fun. The super cool thing about this truck is the fact that it is four-wheel drive. We have a huge grassy reservoir behind our house and I literally ran it down the hill all around the back area. It had no problem climbing over bumps and hills. When I had it come back to me it climbed right up the big hill with no problem at all. It's super fast and can take a good rollover. There were sometimes on the street when it jumped a speed bump and flipped over and kept on going and then sometimes it just flipped onto its back side. No big deal, it took the rollover with no problem.I really like the fact that you can dial in the steering alignment. That makes a big difference when you start hitting higher speeds. It takes a little bit of tweaking but you'll finally get it after a few tries. It comes with two batteries and I was having fun for what seemed like forever on just one battery. It does have its own proprietary charger so just know that the charger does plug into a standard USB-A port, but the other end is proprietary to the battery, and it also has an indicator light to let you know when it's fully charged.Overall, whether you're young or older you'll have a lot of fun with this RC truck!
