If you mean, can you make fabric from the silk, the answer is yes however, as in the real silk making process, you need to kill the larvae in the cocoon first. The reason is that when the larvae are ready to emerge, they produce a chemical that burns a hole in the cocoon. That process destroys the continuity of the silk fiber. Basically, the silk is one long strand that forms the cocoon. These strands are what are used to form the silk fabric.

You will need to buy food as they get bigger, after 1” avoid every week…if they all hatch

All of them hatched. Doing great paired with silkworm chow

First time with these.About a week after receiving, they all seem to have hatched properly. Learning the process as I go, but will save me lots of money in the future as feeders.Well packaged, clear instructions, fast hatched, I couldn't find 1 egg that didn't seem to hatch this batch. If you follow instructions, should have good luck with it.

I've bought silkworm eggs and mulberry chow several times from this seller and just now left a review. Issues occurred with UPS and Shipping and I contacted the seller and they got back to me very quickly. They investigated the issues, confirmed it with me, and offered to send another batch of eggs to me ASAP. I got the eggs 2ish days after contacting them about the issue!It's nice to have customer service like this.
