Perfect fit replacement!
2011 BMW E91 Wagon Xdrive. Popped the trim back and popped the start module out, took to a bench for some minor clip removal work and popped the new one and trim on. 20-30 minute job.Completely upgraded and updated the 1st thing I look at when I start my car every morning. Only bad part is that it has M-Performance colors and I don’t have an M vehicle. So I’m up-badging which is frowned upon. But I love the look so it’s whatever! Thanks!

BMW engine start/stop cover
Didnt fit with the notches, but i did go ahead and break them off and doubled side taped it, as well as super glued. My original push button was hideous. Ales it easy to push and looks shiny and new. No rubbing off whatsoever.

Got stuck
This did not fit on my BMW series 1 start button and it got stuck when I tried to put it on. I had to pry it off with a screwdriver.

Cute
This push button with the ring attachment is made of a lightweight material and has the bright BMW colors. This size does not fit on my car since I have a BMW x1-2016. It appears to be easy to install and durable.

easy install, looks like new
I've got a 2008 BMW 535xi with 120K miles on it. It's been a wonderful rig, but parts of the car's cosmetics are looking worn. Perhaps the worst part is the start/stop button. Please pardon the dust in the photos . . . The first photo shows the original button. The black on the transluscent button is pretty badly worn. The install of the button is quite easy. It's a 2 min install. I did not opt for the carbon-fiber trim piece, as it looked a bit out of place with our run-of-the-mill 535xi. As such, I simply replaced the button cover and re-installed the chrome trim as original.Love the new look!
