Fairies Grayscale Coloring Book

I think I have most if not all of this artist's books. While I can recognize the style of her work, the individual characters have unique features and personalities. Most important things in the image with the main character are varied. Another artist whose books I have a lot of seems to love mushrooms and I am so sick of mushrooms I quit doing the books! For example here there are birds, trees and flowers, but they are different birds, trees and flowers! I appreciate it greatly as it adds so much when you are coloring a new element. Even the subjects vary, they are not always beautiful young girls. There are men, older women and the occasional baby mixed in with the beautiful young girls.It is my practice to well, practice! So I print copies of the pages and color those before coloring in the book. I can't comment on the paper used as I copy all of mine onto an 80 lb. Bristol Vellum paper. This also affords me the opportunity to make notes in the edge so there is room to improve when I color it the next time. I have came back and repeated a page after several months and it is fun to see your improvement (or lack thereof sometimes).I do this as a hobby and I would never have thought it would be such fun. If you have health issues this is a great hobby to take your mind off how bad you are feeling.While I downloaded one of her books (downloads are available for purchase elsewhere), I found that either way gave me great prints. In my opinion the illustration in the listing showing all the images does not do them justice. I hope my photos show how much better they are in person. (But remember hobbyist here not professional!)

Absolutely my most favorite Fairies book EVER!!The art in this book is so stunning and magical and takes you on a trip to your fairy dream world!!This book is filled with gorgeous fairy women and men and the settings are perfectly fit to each fairy. Water, forest and other various backgrounds.All images are provided on single sided pages so you can use any medium you desire. I do recommend using a piece of cardstock between your pages for wet mediums such as markers and gel pens to prevent bleed through.This book is in grayscale, but if you are not in to grayscale, Christine Karron also offers these same fairy characters in a line art book!!Be prepared to be hooked!! I'm eagerly waiting for her next fairy book!!

This book is so absolutely beautiful that you hate to come to the end of it. Love EVERY SINGLE PAGE!!

This is my second grayscale book and I really love this artist's artwork. The print is very nice! The grade of paper is fine due to me making extra copies on thicker paper for my finished piece. This book is not perforated, but allows space for tear-out/shearing. I do feel the book is a little overpriced for the number of photos and quality of paper; however, I loved the artist's work, so I was willing to pay the price. Overall, very satisfied!

WOW! When I first received this I was so disappointed with how the pages looked, they were shiny/glossy looking and I thought there'd be NO way to get color on them....But.....I'm so pleasantly surprised!! I've colored 3 pages so far, using 3 different brands of colored pencils to show their outcome. (1st:) ~Wind Fairy~/FC Polychromos (2nd:) ~Fern Fairy~/Marco Raffines (3rd:) ~Mermaid Dreaming~/Prismacolor PremiersMy absolute favorite book to date!! The artwork is so beautiful, I'm definitely buying all her books!!

I rated this book a 4 for ONE reason; not enough pictures for the price.But, the drawings are amazing and come to life so effortless. Received today and finished one picture so far.

The media could not be loaded.  The book is great! Some of the dark parts in the images are too dark. The shading is great! I definitely recommend this.

Beautiful grayscale coloring book. The illustrations are stunning! So glad I bought it. Only wish it came with 2 pics of each picture so I can try in colored pencils and alcohol markers. I will most likely buy a second to accomplish that. I also bought book 2 grayscale and that is stunning as well. If you are thinking of buying it...just do it. You won't regret it.

absolutely gorgeous greyscale of fairies by talented artist Christine Karron..wonderfully detailed but not to much, beautifully drawn and lovely to bring to life with your colours.

Muito muito lindo. Até chegou fairies 2 que fica mais lindo ainda. Se isso é possível.
