The product is easy to install and is sturdy

Once you screw it into your dash is permanent, it is a little floppy without bracing the iPhone mount. Had to buy additional parts to attach to reinforce mount.

This product was extremely difficult to get installed somewhat properly. If I put it on the left side of the dash, it angles the phone away from my face to a point that it’s difficult trying to see directions clearly. Not what I expected at all. Also, it comes as 2 pieces that you have to install separate, and the nuts are tiny. Very easy to drop and lose while installing. I highly recommend you buy a different mount.

It was advertised for a silverado, but it fit perfectly in my 2018 Colorado.

The bracket is easy to install.

I've always used panavise products for dash-mounted cell phone holders and they've always been of the highest quality. Unfortunately there is a serious design flaw with this item. When mounted on the dash it's angled away from the driver. It's nearly impossible to get the phone pointed directly at the driver unless you add the apparatus that allows you to tilt and turn etc. Unfortunately that adds more bulk and weight which causes the cell phone gripper to bounce around on the freeway. I don't know if I got a defective unit but from the photographs I've seen it looks to be the way it was designed. Again, great quality it's just that it's oriented towards the passenger instead of the driver.
