I wear a prosthetic leg and due to the odd shape of my limb, I need a special insert that includes a detachable distal end cap that is usually made of just plastazote that wears out after 3 months of athletic activity. I decided to order this and found that the combination of plastazote and PPT is even more comfortable and more resistant after fashioning an end cap of my own.

My bad....I ordered mine too thick... If you can't get the original insole out, then you should order a thin product.It DOES feel great for walking !

I purchased this as I was having issue with pressure points on my feet. As I'm a big guy I wanted to make sure that I had plenty of cushion and this was the thickest insole material I could find. Although at first glance this seems an expensive purchase I've worked out I can get about 8 or so pairs of inserts from one sheet which is quite economical. Because of the thickness you may have issues with this in tight fitting shoes, so maybe consider the thinner versions. I found it replaced worn out insoles perfectly and I'm very happy with how it is holding up right now too. I was even able to cut half inserts to just cushion my heals. The edge can be trimmed with scissors and doesn't break up at all. I found that adding extra inserts at the heal even helped with my posture.

I lost my big toe 3 years ago and have been struggling with my 2nd toe metatarsal pad having an ulcer. This helped offload the weight so there is not so much pressure on the 2nd metatarsal pad
