I’m picky about lip products, and the texture of the SOME BY MI V10 Hyal Lip Stain is just perfect to me. It's like Kissu + Fixing Tint in a squeezable tube. It’s a bit sticky and tacky but I prefer it that way, but once that fades, my lips still have this nice, lingering color; if you don't like sticky lip products maybe skip this product.I’m a recovering lip balm addict, I’ve used chapstick and similar for 2 decades now, often containing beeswax with menthol, which dries my lips out so much they’re chapped if I don’t keep reapplying. I have other lipsticks and stains, but those are mostly for color, and I still need a balm underneath for a nice base before color.Not until I’ve switched to K-beauty and J-beauty lip products that it actually heals my lips. They typically contain healing ingredients I'd use for facial skincare like panthenol, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, shea butter, etc. that I’m no longer dependent on using a lip balm like I did, I just use it because I enjoy it, not because if I don't my lips will crack, bleed, or hurt. BUT those products I like usually come in jars which isn’t great if my hands are dirty or tubes with wands and it always look bad if I don’t have a mirror handy.This one by Some By Mi super easy to swipe on, and it gives my lips a natural and healthy flush, which I love since my natural lips is colorless and lifeless without help lolI kinda wish it was SPF 30 instead of 15, but it doesn’t take away from how much I like this product. This is one of the most convenient lip products I’ve tried, this being a 2-pack I can keep one tube in my purse, the other in my car. This is kind of pricey if you compare with just a lip ointment or balm that can be purchased at the local drugstore, but quite fair to cheap compared to some of the other lip products I prefer.- No scents or fragrance- Has beneficial ingredients- Gives you a glossy healthy lip color

I've been wearing lip products with sunscreen for years. At this point it's a habit to put on a lip sunscreen every day before I apply whatever colored lip product I'm going to wear for the day. I have tried numerous colored lip sunscreen products, but there's never much color payoff - no matter what color it looks like it's going to be, so I always put on another lip product over top. This is the first lip sunscreen I've ever worn that actually wears like a lip stick that has sunscreen rather than a sunscreen for my lips.The "SOME BY MI V10 Hyal Lip Sun Protector Berry – Pack of 2" has great color and shine - and while it is a little sticky - I actually like that because it feels like it's really protecting my lips. Like many (most?) Korean Beauty products, the focus on gentle skincare is clear in the ingredients. This lip sunscreen makes my lips feel hydrated and nourished while keeping them protected from the sun, wind, and environmental stressors.The packaging of this product is unique - the top of the tube is a triangle shape, and it's very comfortable in the hand - I have not had any issues squeezing the product out, but I live in a state where it is perpetually summer. I also haven't noticed any weird taste or smell, but, as I said, I've been wearing sunscreen lip products for years and it's entirely possible that I'm just accustomed to it at this point. I do make a point of not licking my lips because that can cause them to dry out more, but I have experienced this wearing off on a straw or cup and haven't noticed a taste.Love that this leaves a subtle stain as it fades, but does not create patchy or uneven color - it does wear off when eating or drinking, so I make sure to reapply before I go outside again. This product is more expensive than your average lip sunscreen - but since I don't feel like I need to top with another lip product when I'm wearing it, I feel like it is worth a little extra - girl math. I recommend this product and I will definitely be repurchasing when this runs out.

I absolutely LOVE this SPF 15 Lip Stain! Its not your average/regular run of the mill lip SPF lip stain. It has ALOT of beneficial ingredients such as Vitamin E properties, but also a blend of Vitamin A, B1, B3, B6, B9, B12, C, G, & H, shea butter, & olive oil. It glides on smoothly with a glossy finish & is soothing, hydrating, & very nourishing! The combined ingredients make it great for supporting the health of your lips. It also contains 2,000 pin of hyaluronic acid so your lips retain moisture & 30,000 prob of tocopheryl acetate to prevent moisture loss while also providing a plumping affect. It is long lasting & does not need to be reapplied. It also reduces dead skin cells. I’m a smoker & the combined ingredients in this SPF lip stain helps reduce wrinkles around the lips. Quality is excellent & too notch! It’s also not greasy or tacky when compared to other SPF lip stains. At the time of this review., it’s currently priced at $17.20 for a 2pk & it’s my opinion that it’s priced incredibly low when compared to other comparables that don’t meet this level of quality & a great value! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Nice color but I thought the shea butter would make it glide on more smoothly. It is thick and so it's hard to squeeze out of the small opening in the tube. I was so excited to find a tinted lip balm with SPF that I overlooked a couple of things I do not like -- it contains wax, which explains it thickness, and it is colored with synthetic dyes instead of natural fruits and vegetables.

I have chronically dry lips that peel and I'm always searching for hydrating lip products to help. SOME BY MI V10 Hyal Lip Sun Protector is a great product with a thick formula. It provides exceptional protection for the skin barrier of your lips that stays on even when drinking liquids. This lip balm is soothing and comforting, plus, it has a lovely tint ! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a thicker tinted lip balm with SPF to soothe irritated lips.
