My kids, aged 2 and 5, love it. We've been using Elmex for the last 2 years. The flavour is very mild and both my daughters enjoy it - I would say much more pleasant than equivalent for grown ups.The tubs are generous size and will last a long time.

Tooth protection with Amino Fluoride
Best toothpaste for kids, my son loves it. It’s not too strong and smells nice. Also it comes in nice small tubes easy to carry while travelling.

The original paste and formula
Elmex seems to have decided to switch their 0-5 formula completely to the sickly sweet gel. As change is not something a toddler is particularly tolerant of, brushing teeth became a bit of a nightmare. These however are the original paste, and we're back to normal thank god.
