Queen of the High Seas Costume

I purchased this pirate costume for this year’s Halloween, and it’s totally worth the money! The size is accurate as per the description, and it fits perfectly which is I am always an XS in all brands. The material is bit stretchy too so it can help for the ones between sizes. While, the material does look a bit cheap, it’s completely fair for the price I paid. Overall, it’s a great value and served its purpose well for the occasion.

This was one of my favorite family costumes we have done! The women's pirate costume was comfortable. You could make it a little sexier if you would like but for a mom with her kids it makes you feel great. This costume runs true to size! The dress is super cute and was worn multiple times! The quality for the price was perfect for a dress up outfit!

Overall I really like this costume. It is flattering and cute. Skirt is decent and fits as expected. Top is short and could stand to be a bit longer, sleeve length is good but shoulder area is a little snug for an XL. I have only tried it on. The belt doesn't stay Velcroed even just trying it on. The belt is very cheap. Cute enough to try to wear for Halloween but may require a different belt. 5’3 167lbs

“Fit as expected” based on previous reviews. I bought Medium/ normally wear size 4/small. Skirt was asymmetrical and thin(wore leggings). Top was shorter than expected so I hiked up skirt and belt covered overlap right at my natural waist. Head wrap was challenging to get on just right and have stripes show like in photo, husband helped. I used my straightener to fix flap pieces on neck line and tied fake strings. Can’t remember if this came with boot coverups, but I didn’t wear any. Wore for Family Halloween party, held up well, haven’t washed yet.The headband and skirts aren’t not the same color red, odd but only noticeable by me. No sword included but not a problem, just one less thing to carry (besides my kid). Husband wore matching brand costume for men.

I looked at my options:- Faking my own death: Well that seemed a little bit to harsh and I could not find a good copy of me on Amazon- Running away and working under an Alias somewhere at a diner in Montana: I am really bad a waiting tables. So that was no option.- Actually going: Ah well, has to be this one then.Now I only had to find a costume where me and my wife could kinda do a partner-thing and I would still be kinda "manly". So we went with Pirates. Pirates are kinda cool right? Johnny Depp and all? Better than Poo Bear I guess.You can find the review of my costume somewhere else here on Amazon. This is for my wifes costume. She said it was "ok". Nothing fancy. It did the trick. Was not to pricey. The top was maybe a little short and its cheaply made but will survive the party.Now I have to only work on my skills at waiting tables. For Halloween party. So cute. Fit as expected and comfortable. I ordered an XL primarily so the top would fit (size 40 bra) and it was perfect. I normally wear a L so the skirt was a little big but overall I was very satisfied.

This was a great buy! Try on photos included. I added hoops and a gold necklace and bought a garder knife, skull ring, and septum ring for a full look. I'm glad the top and skirt are seperate pieces so I can mix and match them with other things. Ex. wear black jeans with the top or use the skirt for a creepy clown costume. The sleeves are kind of there, the top looks good, the belt is a little cheap but i like that it adjusts, and the skirt is a thinner material but the waist stretches. Im happy it comes with a matching headband. Its overall pretty flattering and comfortable but with the sleeves you may get a little warm. I also recommend a little steam or iron before wearing it out.Sizing: I'm a size 14 on average for dresses and jeans and the XL fit just about right. Im 5'4", 36 in waist, 43 in hip.Top fit: Transparency i have a 41inch bust. The top has some stretch but it just fits over me with a lined bra. Gives it some sex appeal, but if you want looser fit, wearing a sports or unlined bra will help.Bottom fit: The skirt waistband has some stretch to it and is thinner material. I dont think it's see through. I pulled it up a little because im shorter and to show the knife. It fits as expected.Again overall, I recommend this one and if your measurements are a few inches over mine then I'd recommend going plus size.
