Consistently Great Espresso!
I’ve bought this Lavazza Espresso Whole Bean Coffee a couple of times now, and it’s been excellent every time. I mainly use it for espresso shots, and the flavor never disappoints. It’s smooth, rich, and has a really nice balanced taste — bold enough to be satisfying but without any harsh bitterness. Every shot pulls nicely with a good amount of crema, and the aroma from the beans is amazing the moment you start grinding. The medium roast brings out a natural sweetness and a clean finish that makes every cup enjoyable. It’s the kind of coffee that feels consistent bag after bag, which I really appreciate. The 2.2 lb size is a great deal too — you get plenty of high-quality beans that stay fresh if you store them properly.I’ve tried a few different brands, but I keep coming back to this one because of the quality and reliable flavor. If you’re looking for a solid espresso bean that you can count on, Lavazza is definitely worth picking up.

nice dark flavor good espresso
i've never tried lavazza before it was suggested by a friend. it tastes great. i use it in a moka pot and it is better than starbucks. i've only had espresso in restaurants and coffee shops in mocha lattes i've only ordered espresso by itself once in starbucks and of course when i added sugar and cream to it it tasted like a hot double shot. i've had shots of espresso added to other coffees but this is the only bag of beans i bought and ground myself and used a moka pot and it is better than the other restaurants.

Good price, need less grind for good cup of coffee
For the price it's worth shaking the dice to see what you think about it. I could tell you that I think it's like this or that, but everyone has different taste buds. This is not exactly what I was looking for as I think they're not making it anymore (Italian blend) BUT this is way better than the high priced garbage you find at these big chain stores.

tastes good
Got an espresso machine and we made our first cups with traditional coffee beans (grounds) and we found it to be more bitter than expected. Did some research and learned we should use espresso beans and got these and WOW what a difference. The espresso (and cappuccino) had a much smoother almost creamy consistency.I don't know how this compares to others as it's my first espresso beans but it ground easy, had a nice rich color to it, the flavor tasted great, it was sealed and fresh, and it gave me my daily caffeine fix without breaking the bank.

Smooth, Balanced, and Far Superior to Starbucks
As someone who takes their espresso seriously, Lavazza’s Whole Bean Medium Roast is a standout. It delivers a beautifully smooth, rich flavor without the harsh acidity or burnt notes that plague so many mass-market coffees. The 100% Arabica blend strikes a perfect balance, subtle chocolate undertones, a clean finish, and a complexity that holds up whether brewed as espresso or drip.I used to be a regular Starbucks drinker, but after tasting Lavazza, there’s simply no going back. Starbucks now tastes over-roasted and flat by comparison. Lavazza is in a completely different league — a true daily luxury for anyone who actually cares about their coffee.

Best one to try 1st
I got this not ever having it before, I also couldn't figure out why it was SO expensive, but when the bag came in it was HUGE!! But also, it works PERFECTLY for the Espresso machine I got. So if your getting an espresso machine and don't know what to get for coffee, THIS is the one to try 1st, it's the PERFECT roast for espresso shots, the caffeine content is STRONG! I LOVE it!! And the Espresso machine brings the beans for you, so it's REALLY easy to use! This bag is SO big that when I filled the espresso machine I still had to put the rest of the beans into 2 other containers. Unfortunately there was no seal on it to lock it but I figured out something better.

Smooth, Great-Tasting Coffee That Never Disappoints
This coffee has quickly become one of my go-to favorites. It has a smooth, rich flavor that’s incredibly easy to drink—no bitterness or harsh aftertaste, just a clean and balanced cup every time. Whether I’m brewing it in a drip machine or using a French press, the taste holds up beautifully.I also appreciate the consistency from bag to bag. The beans are fresh and aromatic, and the flavor is always just right. It’s great for both morning routines and an afternoon pick-me-up.If you’re looking for a dependable, great-tasting coffee with a smooth finish, this one definitely hits the mark. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys a quality cup without the fuss!
